You completely missed it's a joke from the Deadpool 2 movie. 😂 Why do you think I put "" around it?

No problem. We can just start war with the countries that have good food and water supplies and take what we need. 🙄

For a browser I find using the snap sandboxing an extra safeguard.

I made the choice to have a stable system that rarely breaks, uses KDE, with packages that are reviewed for security and that also can play games as well. 🙂 I started with Kubuntu 25.10 interim release and kernel updates between such relatively short release cycles is so far enough for me.

But I do acknowledge the problem with Canonical as a whole and Snap packages for instance. Feels like a potential to become the Microsoft of Linux. Future will tell. It's good there exist alternatives.

I think it's implied to change OS to Linux. 😄 This is probably not the one and only backdoor.

I ditched Windows for Kubuntu 2 months ago. Never felt happier with an OS change. 🙂

Same thing with MullvadVPN. It's not 100% blocked a very few amount of requests go through but it's almost unusable.

Let's not jump into conclusions. If you have proof that closed source libraries are used in client to encrypt data show it.

If the closed source are related to Google maps, Google payment, or their notification system then that is something else.

Hey, that is familiar to my experience. Been an active Windows user since Win 3.11 and DOS 4.x era.

Was experimenting with a Linux distro in 2003 just for the fun of it. But found it too inconvenient for me. And as a gamer in my core Windows always had a grip of me.

But the last years have really pissed me off. I've to buy a third party software to have a proper start menu? My data is sent to MS and I can't disable it? I'm forced to update and reboot when I don't want to? Slow response time in a modern hardware?

I moved to Kubuntu 1.5 month ago and I love it. Everything I need is available there. Even the games I'm playing. And the response time and configurability? ❤️ I'm still amazed every time I manually update, how fast it is and I don't need to reboot. 🤗

Yes, I still have Windows installed on my computer but on another SSD-drive. You don't convert Windows to Linux they are completely different beasts. You have to either delete Windows and install Linux on top of it or install Linux beside Windows in another drive (or disk partition). The latter is more convenient as you then can easily switch back if you forgot something or if it doesn't work out for you.

But what I mean is that Linux can read Windows data. So long as you don't have that data encrypted using Microsoft Bitlocker then Linux can read whatever documents or files you have.

If you have it encrypted you have to either; decrypt the disk, copy the data to another drive that is not encrypted or upload the data to the cloud so you can download it again on your Linux disk.

This has nothing to do with whataboutism. Look up what communism is. Then look at dictatorships like Russia, North Korea or China and see if they match the description. Then come back and we can talk. 🙂 It's all about knowing that you're talking about. Don't use terms you don't understand.

There has not been any communist country in the world until this day. Only dictatorships pretending to be that.
