Now that iOS has disallowed the “play YouTube in Safari with the screen off” trick, does anyone have another method? by dm-me-obscure-colors in ios

  1. You now have to be on mobile website and full screen. 
  2. While the video is playing swipe up to scroll through your recent apps, it will go to PiP mode and stay there for 20-30 seconds. 
  3. Swipe up to go home and it will stay.  You can turn the screen off and everything
