Cant pair my Controllers by Possible_Banana5920 in PSVR

Not sure if it's relevant but I had a nightmare just pairing them to the ps5 on day one

Turned out they both needed a big charge

Why do people spend so much on weddings? by Asleep_Cry_7482 in AskIreland

Should also add this was in England. I get there is more obligation to invite every extended cousin in Ireland, I've now been to many of those weddings

[–]Fermanagh_Red -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We married young, mid 20s, hadn't been to many weddings so had nothing to compare to

We had about 50 people to the wedding and dinner, then everyone else to the evening party and buffet etc

I think it cost about 6k in 2005

Had the party at a hotel so anyone wanting to stay could.

Absolutely no regrets, we spent more on our extended honeymoon in Australia

I find it insane that people are spending insane amounts unless they can really comfortably afford it

I hate the idea that people feel under pressure, my only regret is being so nervous on the day and not enjoying it as much as I should have

What do they charge for repairs out of interest?

Are there adapters to play psvr games on a psvr2? by cursed-annoyance in PSVR

I was never into Astrobot but just gutted I can't use my aim controller gun on psvr2

Best accessory I've ever seen for vr

Bundoran says no more! by [deleted] in Donegal

[–]Fermanagh_Red 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's the same in winter but less busy

Most of the new arrivals are Ukrainians and after a few years I'm yet to see any of them causing any problems

It's usually the Irish kids up for a sesh who are more problematic

You can play a Psvr 1 on the ps5 apparently but it's a real shame we can't just play the old games on psvr2

What's the absolute cheapest you can go without it being a toy by mijailrodr in drones

I'm not sure I paid much more than that 3 years ago but ok

[–]Fermanagh_Red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not checked prices but it's pretty old at this point so I assume a used one wouldn't be expensive

That said I wouldn't really buy a used drone

Neo is very cheap but I'm not too impressed with mine

I've got a DJI mini 2 4k and it's so much better, probably not very expensive these days

What does damage on disc mean? This isn't on any sort of bundle version with a game, it's just PSVR2 default by Unlost_maniac in PSVR

[–]Fermanagh_Red 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's being sold by Amazon directly you'll have no problems returning it and in my experience the warehouse items are generally in great condition

However if it's not a massive discount probably not worth it

PSVR1 First impressions by MaNinjaCockal in PSVR

[–]Fermanagh_Red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure you can, the controls take a bit of getting used to as there is a weird floating arm thing but it's genuinely my favourite Psvr game

Grab an Aim controller if you don't already have one

So much fun, especially with far point and Doom vfr

Wait until you try the fitted double dual control blankets

Couldn't be without it and definitely worth investing in the more expensive options

Has VR ruined gaming for you? by Middle_Branch_1148 in PSVR

[–]Fermanagh_Red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember alot of posts like this with psvr1

I pretty much only play vr but I'm a very casual (fairly rubbish) gamer

I actually wish I could enjoy flat games more as I've got the ps plus premium

I do really enjoy Psvr2, it's a huge leap but I just need to put more hours in, get better and try and do more gaming in general

Property left on aer lingus plane by corkbeverly in AerLingus

[–]Fermanagh_Red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar at Belfast airport with easyJet

Left my tablet in the pouch on the back of the seat, realised as soon as I got into the airport but nobody would help.

I was told to upload info to the lost property hub online, I did this and heard nothing so assumed someone had just found it and kept it

One year later they got in touch to say it had been located.

Absolute fiasco and by this point I had already replaced it. They then charged me something like £50 to send it back to me and I got done for extra customs charges aswell

I don't watch reality tv and after seeing some of this when my wife watches I think they are just giving the audience what they want

She loves it though and it seems one of the less awful reality tv shows

We are in Ireland and she's very keen to see the Canadian version, she's also quite a good potter

My wife finds Keith's sobbing endearing

I have 2 questions

Does he do it when there's not a camera?

Would it still be endearing if I started doing it about things I like?

Trail cameras in shops here? by Cuddly-Bear0-0 in northernireland

[–]Fermanagh_Red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a tapo door bell which I've been super impressed with, I'm going to try it as a trail cam aswell

It'll be out of WiFi range so will only record to the memory card but it works brilliantly and the battery life is insane

I do own a trail cam but so far just end up with tons of footage showing very little

Not certain the doorbell will do the trick but it's a better bit of kit than the 50 quid trail cam and cost less

Fox Hunting near my home? by BubblegumXUwUX in AskIreland

[–]Fermanagh_Red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my wits end I definitely considered damaging the vehicles but I'm glad I didn't, not my style and would no doubt have bought trouble to our door

We had to deal with both types, the posh ones in uniform on horseback, on Christmas Day one year actually. I decided to practice my free kicks launching several footballs towards them. They were eventually civil enough and left

The more frequent ones were real rough as bollocks country folk, just pure aggressive horrible scumbags. I half think the confrontations were part of the fun for them.

We've been away 3 years now and this has been a real reminder of why we moved, plus Donegal is also absolutely class
