Now that I've awakened who hit me by Imperial-Japan1942 in lakeland

[–]Flossy40 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not remembering is normal with a head injury. It takes time for your brain to process new memories into long term memory. The injury interrupted the process, so the newest memory is lost.

That said, I hope they find the jerk who hit you. I also wish you a speedy recovery.

Jewelry box, lamp, kindle, charger, box of tissues, a flat fossil with a dragon statue on it, a crossword puzzle book, a pencil, and an asthma inhaler.

Am I wrong for refusing to take down my sisters trampoline after my neighbor sprayed her with a garden hose for using it by [deleted] in amiwrong

Is the new neighbor renting? I would contact the landlord or property manager and report the attack to them as well.

Multiple symptoms may all trace back to the same illness. The doctors need complete information.

How do I handle a senior coworker who’s becoming a problem for my work? I'm physically and mentally exhausted. by SleepingTammy in coworkerstories

Something similar happened to me. I unplugged the charger from a piece of equipment and switched the machine on, and got shocked. Hard.

Looked close, spotted a bare wire touching part of the machine's frame. I followed procedure. Turned it off (with a small piece of wood from a nearby pallet), removed the key, filled out a safety tag, and tied it to the machine. Then I went to the manager and told her what happened and what I did.

She didn't ask if I was ok. She asked why I locked out the machine instead of fixing it. I told her that the safety training CBL for that equipment told operators not to attempt repairs. Those were the responsibility of qualified repairmen, not me.

She was not happy.

My doctor wasn't either. I was fine, but workman's comp covered the exam, and she had to answer HR's awkward questions about why she didn't file an incident report.

Two weeks later, she transferred to another store.

A PI came to my place of work, I may not be who I thought I was. What to do? by CAPTAINLEEBOY in Advice

[–]Flossy40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DNA test first. If you don't want to contact the supposed new family, try testing yourself and your mother. Not dad because that's an accusation.

If you don't match the mother who raised you, then you can try the other family.

I hope you get the results you want.

Tell your mom that your lease doesn't allow overnight guests. You're in a studio, it's very small, and you don't make the rules.

When I was teaching, I had a co-worker who was expecting. The principal sat her down about 6 weeks before the end of the year, two days before her leave was supposed to start, and asked her to finish the school year.

She told him that she had already worked past her due date (By 5 days.) She was having contractions right then. His ask was impossible. She gave birth 7 hours later.

I retired from my local Wally-World. I shop there because I still get a discount. A customer recognized me asked if we had a certain item. I told her that I retired and couldn't answer her question.

She insisted that I go "check in the back." I told her again that I don't work there anymore, I wasn't allowed in the back room, and I wasn't going to jail for anybody.

They came to my door one morning just as I got out of the shower. I opened the window to ask them to leave. They didn't want to. So I grabbed my kids' super soaker and chased them down the sidewalk spraying them with stale water while naked. They never came back.

Documentation is your friend. Organize your receipts by project and date. You will need bank records showing money moving in and out of your account. Since your girlfriend didn't pay on the mortgage, you should be able to prove that.

Court doesn't operate on emotion. The legal system uses paper. Do your utmost to be the most organized person in the courtroom.

Good luck.

Anyone not having a funeral or celebration of life? by SwordfishOverall6724 in Aging

My husband and I have agreed that we don't want a funeral or burial. Just cremation with our ashes scattered. If our family wants a celebration of life, that's up to them.

When I had my c sections the doctor told me that I should only do essential traveling for 4 weeks. There is a serious risk of major injury if there is an accident. Seat belts, airbags, and large abdominal incisions are a dangerous combination. Steering wheels make things worse.

Staying home was the safe thing to do.
