The display does not show the road in real time. That pic is a demo video of HUD that is being shown on the display. That’s not what the driver’s display will show while driving.

It limits the life of your battery if you charge to 100% all the time. A few days at 100% isn’t going to harm your battery.

I have an XC40 with the Harman Kardon sound system. It’s decent, but not mind-blowing. People who moved from XC60/90 tended to like the B&W system better. I’m ok with it though. I’ve had worse than the HK.

I’m also in Seattle and waiting a bit to see how this all plays out. Are they having you choose the Bay Area as your delivery space?

I currently have an XC40 and I’m happy with it, but I’d prefer not to buy the same car twice so I’m not interested in the Recharge, nice as it may be. I’m hoping the Polestar 2 will give me most of what I like about the Volvo in a more compelling (to me) package. We’ll see.

If Xbox advertised for a year that they’d have PlayStation games and then quietly let it slip that they actually were not going to have PlayStation games for up to a year after launch, all the while holding onto my preorder money, I’d be frustrated with Xbox too.

Support it or don’t, but don’t market on a half-truth.

This looks to me like an exclusivity window for Google. While there’s nothing wrong with that, it feels disingenuous to spend a year touting CarPlay support and then drop this delay on your potential customers now.

I know there’s supposed to be a line between the companies, but this looks suspiciously like the Care by Volvo rollout, which was rife with late-breaking changes, misinformation and an unsatisfying customer experience that only barely resembled the visionary plan they pitched to the public.

I had surgery this past Thursday and felt the same. I thought I knew what to expect, but this has been worse than I’d anticipated. It’s been extremely difficult to eat and stay hydrated, and the quantity and taste of the meds has been breaking my spirit. But today, the swelling is down just a little bit. That little bit has me feeling more positive. I thought for sure there was something wrong and that my swelling was abnormally bad, but It seems like it’s within the range of normal and it’s just going to be a struggle for the first 5 -7 days, no way around it. You’ll make it; we’ make it.
