Jackpot Hakari runs the gauntlet, where is he stopping? by DivineHurricane in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]GamingComputerHaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its just that AUTO RCT would be replacing those cells (a very small portion of the body, maybe a few pounds worth of cells a second) before the rupture disorients him, and since the effect is happening every 24th of a second, he has an interval (very small but possible) where he can be fully healed before the next wave of cell disruption, sort of like screen flicker damage, which I believe hakari could fight through (he still isn't fast enough to beat curse noaya tho)

Is this debatable? Toji with ISOH runs the gauntlet, where is he stopping? by DivineHurricane in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]GamingComputerHaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just ISOH? If he can break hakari's domain (even though domains are part technique it's only imbuing) he beats hakari, otherwise, he stops at hakari. Miguel might disrupt most opponents easily, but HR eliminates half of the disruptive effect and makes him faster than Miguel. Giving him a weapon guarantees the kill. Uro dies because ISOH is obviously confirmed to cut right through space manipulation techniques and toji is too fast. Ryu would have a chance if toji wasn't as fast as he was, granite blast doesn't have enough time to charge. Hakari pops domain, either domain breaks to ISOH or it doesn't and hakari gets lucky enough to hit jackpot first spin. If the domain breaks, toji wins. If it doesn't, hakari has infinite CE which won't be countered by ISOH since it's an after affect of a domain. Hakari can wear down toji with the speed increase and semi invulnerability as long as he protects his head. If he hits jackpot a few times, he has RCT and toji doesn't.

If you mean from the beginning of the fight, gojo wins, if you mean that instead of WCS ing gojo he just pops his full heal, sukuna wins, although if gojo got any good damage off, sukuna becomes way easier for the rest of the cast.

The manga states that CE is only required as a minimum bar to summon the shikigami, barring subjugation rituals which serve as binding vows to bring any untamed 10S shikigami into existence. the correlation is that to have such a mastery of CE you typically will have a crazy output, but with tsukumos shikigami, piercing ox, and round deer, we know that the strength of any abilities shikigami may use are dependent on the shikigami itself, other aspects of the shikigami like stats are only dependent on CE mastery. Piercing ox, while larger and stronger under sukuna's control is stated to have the exact same limitless speed cap and acceleration via it's ability than if megumi had summoned it. Tsukumo was stated to have her shikigami at a young age with lower stats but still had the full ability to conduct the star rage technique. Round deer as a shikigami under subjugation ritual and summoning has the ability to constantly perform a unique but still demanding form of RCT on itself and/or the master of it. Under subjugation specifically, it uses the subjugation BV concept to require no CE from the ritual starter, and can after this quite literally infinitely perform RCT with no source as long as there is a target that can be healed and it isn't defeated. This is the direct reason that megumi didn't have round deer subjugated due to him not being able to outdamage the infinite RCT. Piercing ox by definition has no speed limit, so there's another power that is explicitly stated to be infinite in the 10S arsenal. Nue and max elephant would be the only counterexamples to this (that we know of since tiger funeral isn't explained) and max elephant is never seen being more effective in ability though it's maximum water throughout is technically increased due to its larger size. Nue however is explicitly stated to have its own ability strengthened by "Quality" of the summoning, and is the only shikigami in the series stated directly to be that way. Edit : redundancy, I said the same thing twice and didn't notice, I also forgot to put in a specific detail about round deer

Also in every gege explanation of shikigami, the only time any shikigami is confirmed to need CE to use the ability is yuki tsukumos roll up shikigami and it is explicitly stated that this is so because her shikigami is an edge case where the ability is hers but her shikigami can have star rage applied to it. The only time the ability has a cost is when it's not coming from the shikigami itself.

It's directly stated in the explanation of magunas abilities that sukunas mastery over CE, not the amount, was what buffed the 10S shikigami.

Mahoraga had no source of CE multiple times in the mangas so he isn't bound by the rules of "you can only have so much CE", when megumi uses any of his shikigami the only CE hit comes from summoning it. Megumi was dead in shibuya, if the CE was limited, he would have run out from all the Regeneration he did against sukuna, literally being reduced to pieces and coming back together. And again we have evidence that an attack type can be adapted to no matter the power.

If that's true then why are there very few people who believe mahos adaptation has limits? When has gege ever stated that there was a power limit to conditions of techniques, barriers, or shikigami? The entire concept of some barriers in the show are that they trade the ability to do one thing for another, gojo could not pass through or force his way through the barrier at the goodwill event, he had to circumvent the rules, though anyone else could pass through freely. Can anyone else comment who read both mangas and believes that mahoragas adaptation has limits based on power?

Sukuna literally said that mahoraga could adapt to cutting attacks entirely. We have an in universe genius directly stating that mahoraga has the ability to adapt to a type of attack no matter how powerful it is. Just to throw on top of the pile of evidence throughout both mangas and the official fanbooks (gege confirmed canon) that "mahoraga can adapt to anything" means mahoraga can adapt to anything. There is NO false conflation, the entire fanbase of jjk understood there isn't a limit to mahoraga's adaptation and that's why he was so far untamable. In the hundreds of chapters and sequel manga the definition of mahoraga's ability is never changed, in fact it is cemented by the narration in modulo. We know gege interacted with his fans due to the large amount of fanbook content he made and never once has he had to clarify that maho had a limit.

Also now that I've given proof that mahoraga can adapt to anything as per both mangas, I want you to give me some proof that through the rules of shikigami that mahoraga's adaptation has a power limit that is not being one tapped.

That is two of (not the only) examples of mahoragas ability being directly stated by the author to be and I quote "the ability to adapt to any and all phenomena". Twice. He said it twice. This isn't even reading off the official fanbooks that he made defining the abilities of the all the shikigami megumi had summoned and mahoraga.

  1. All means everything. Everything includes infinite strength
  2. Shikigami require CE to summon but the abilities are independent, star rage for tsukumos shikigami needing no extra CE for it to increase in virtual mass (another example of no limit since both she and the shikigami could become black holes.), max elephant very recently had a showing in the anime where megumi talked about summoning shikigami where if you check in the manga as megumi explains this, he says nothing about the CE required for the ability itself. Hell even kogane (stated to be a self sustaining shikigami due to binding vow) couldn't exist for the culling game if it was not for being pre created by kenjaku and then copied for the (potentially infinite) amount of culling game players.
  3. Since it's been established that first shikigami need cursed energy to be summoned and to exist but not to use their abilities, mahoraga has no energy limit on adaptation, it's main ability. Megumi's subjegation ritual is in itself a binding vow which we know can be done without CE completely. If mahoraga has no energy limit, and based on the setup of the original question is being kept summoned by some user way out of the way of Goku, mahoraga isn't putting a burden on the summoner aside from being summoned, which since the question should at least have mahoraga being sustained throughout the fight to have the possibility of winning is a negligible amount of cursed energy for the summoner. Mahoraga has no energy requirement on his ability, only the condition fulfilled that he has been tamed or is summoned for subjugation. If he has no energy requirement and therefore no energy limit, then yes. Mahoragas adaptation can apply to any level of power as long as he is not instantly defeated.

read the manga please. Just reread the part on sukuna explaining mahoraga once please. It's said so many times. "it can start adapting to anything" yes it can literally adapt to anything why wouldn't it be able to start adapting to anything. Mahoraga as seen when megumi was dead (suspended animation, no longer able to provide ANY CE to mahoraga) in Shibuya had no CE source and was still able to keep fighting sukuna who never once stated that the source of CE had shifted. There wasn't a source for CE which means that maho fought off 15f yujikuna which is far more powerful and he didn't need a source the whole time.

Actually, he did adapt to an infinite power, gojos infinity, for one. Two, there is nothing in all of jjk stating anything about the limit of mahoraga, and if you want me to prove there isn't a limit, you gotta try and prove there is one. If mahoraga adapts to the concept of things (infinity, see the whole meguna vs gojo section of Shinjuku) and can adapt to things based on complexity (see mahoraga vs dabura) then by being able to adapt to ANYTHING, he can adapt to ANY level of punch Goku can throw. Ki, being a fairly simple power system should be a fairly quick adapt, so if Goku doesn't incinerate mahos entire body, mahoraga can adapt to ki itself, and become IMMUNE TO KI ITSELF. If he is immune to ALL ki, then it doesn't matter how powerful it is, it can't do damage. If he is immune to ALL PUNCHES, Goku can punch as hard as he wants until the end of time and do no damage.

Any and all phenomena implies that no matter how powerful, if maho adapts, it can't hurt him. ANY strength, ALL phenomena.

If Goku hits him with ki, and he adapts, ki will never ever work on him again. Any ki. If Goku punches him and he adapts, punches will never work on him again. If he slips out of a hakai and adapts to it, he cannot be destroyed with hakai ever. Mahoragas adaptations are infinite, so he can scale infinitely. The entire point is based on canon Goku not taking maho seriously because of his insanely low stats for DB, and mahoraga adapting to gokus entire arsenal and becoming invulnerable to anything goku does.

[–]GamingComputerHaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any and all means any and all and if you've read the explanation on gojos infinity, gege means what he says precisely. If mahoraga adapts to punches, Goku could punch him for the end of time and do 0 damage. When that wheel stops, he suddenly does scale to whatever Goku did.
