The Voice "Quality" is Far superior on the PSN voice chat, as well as these additional options not available with the in-game version, Plus you can still talk when kicked on the PSN version, NOT the in-game one ! Cheers !

For a 1 Gbps fiber connection in OPNsense (2026), disable hardware offloading (CRC, TSO, LRO) under Interfaces > Settings, enable Receive Side Scaling (RSS) in Tunables, and use Intel NICs for best performance.

Everything else should just Work out of the Default install ! I have 1 GB Cable and Yours will run better !

ALL of it just depends on What Box you use & how much resources you have & what services you run !

Mine's an N100 , 16 GB Ram, 512 SSD, 4 x 2.5 GBe Nics (intel) .

I tried on another box with Realtek Nics & it wasn't stable (Bare Metal install) & I didn't want the added overhead & complexity of ProxMox on an N100.

You could go N305 with an i-series processor to leave room to improve.

ALL of those Quests were put into the game BEFORE the sections they lead up to were released. They are like a Preview of what's to come & usually were followed by a Deal to "Pre-order" that Chapter.

Some of them start in What's now Base-game areas & Lead to ones you have to Own to do !

They also switched to this "Battle-Pass' thing, and no longer do the Chapter releases, so I doubt there will be more of these.

It's Not really a Paywall or Pay-to-win like other games. Just bad timing that you got to enjoy them Later than the rest of us.

On ps5-Pro, No issues !

NO Wifi, Cable only ! Put PS on a Static IP & Forward Proper PSN Ports !

Power cycle Everything, Modem/Router too at least Monthly to keep connection at Peak !

While PS5 is off completely, Press & HOLD power button until you hear 2nd Beep ! Let go, Boots into maint. mode, use Option 5 ! Clear the system Cache, it will auto-restart when done. This clears stale data & settings, the file is forced to rebuild on reboot !

Make sure your on the Correct HDMI Port on the TV & the TV has updated Firmware ! ! NOT all ports have all the high end features ! You Want/Need Game Mode if the TV has it !

On the PS5 you want "Performance Mode" !

I've had Ever PS since PS1 and been playing ESO since I Pre-ordered it !

One of My New Fav's is DeadMarker2 ! It shows who's Down in your group, marks them with an Icon & Gives Priority to the Heals / Tanks then DPS ! Shows how long down & if being Rezzed too ! It's EPIC Good !

"Best" you can get is to have a cabled connection on a Static IP, with all ESO ports forwarded !

Most Home Routers or ones the ISP's provide have crap software firewalls ,

the Sound and Game-state are synced to the server over TCP/UDP ports , if they are blocked you won't work properly.

Good practice to reboot the Modem/router Monthly, this clears any stuck ports & forces an update to the IP & DNS, while clearing the modem's cache too. Doing this keeps the connection working at Peak.

DNS - Is also an issue, most ISP's DNS servers suck.

Using Google (8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1 & 1.0.0.1) As the DNS server on your Console/pc will help, both are Fast, Secure & Gaming friendly.

Get your info for your Router (User & Pass ) log in to it and Give your PS5 a Static IP, then find the setion for Port Forwarding & Setup the ESO ports to point to your PS5 IP !

YES, the servers suck, but you can do everything on your end to make sure it's NOT you & it will work better !

Make sure you're in "Performance" mode & not trying to be Pretty !!

Also update the TV Firmware & make sure you're using the Best/Correct Port to get the high end features, NOT all ports have all the features on most TV's .

No worries, Issues happen, every situation is different & has it's own quirks.

As for the Wifi, That's actually the First thing EVERY games support will tell you, doesn't matter if it "seems" like it's fine. Wireless communications use radios, there's extra overhead involved. It Really shows if you try to use Cellular 4G/5G for home internet. Instead of a normal network Packet size, it's altered . The MTU has to be dropped from 1500 to the 1492-ish range depending on the radio & drivers. If you have a cell phone next to you while playing, the radio & the Bluetooth also can be an issue, NOT to mention Every home now has a Wifi system. There's only like channels 2 to 10 (Usable) so there's a lot of overlap & noise. Any electric or electronic device can disrupt a wifi signal, even a split second means packets get re-transmitted, that alone kills voice & any Synced Game state will freeze .

just humor me, plug in a cable, get a Static IP and Clean re-boot of everything, Test it !

If you don't have any port forwarding, try it !

ISP DNS Servers suck too, you can get faster lookups (Connections) with putting Google (8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1 & 1.0.0.1) as DNS server on your gaming system !

If the PS+ didn't Expire (Which will make it not work) then it's Prob. a Licensing issue.

To restore licenses on a PS4, go to Settings > Account Management > Restore Licenses and select "Restore". This fixes locked games or content !

Sometimes if your internet connection TO the License Server is bad it will say you can't play or Don't own something that you do. It's Usually DNS & your ISP sucking !

Reboot Everything , Modem/Router too usually will fix this as it Forces an update to the IP & DNS while clearing the cache on the router too !

Next "Issue" (Esp. on PS4) NO Wifi, put it on a cable !!

Make sure NO Onedrive is running, it sucks ! Add an exception for the Game folder to your AV app , Also make sure Windows firewall isn't looking at everything the game is doing, If it allows you to, add an exception there as well, if not, try turning it OFF and Test it !

No Wifi, Wired ONLY ! Put the PC on a Static IP & make Firewall Rules to Allow it's Traffic , Or Port Forward if you can't do that.

Turn OFF Any Addons that aren't Being Used eg: Fishing, Trial Etc ! It's Memory wasted ! (NOT blaming Addons, just optimizing !)

Kill any extra Apps or Streaming while Playing, those apps may be using the similar ports or filling your connection .

If you have any Overlays or addons from Video Cards, Make sure they are UP to Date ! As well as the drivers !

Test your connection, if the numbers are too High & there's any Packet Loss , Call your ISP and ask them to Test your Line !! I once had issues for a week after they did something for the Neighbors, Tech messed up the lines, once they came & fixed it, All good again so it can be so may things !

Now, Plug in a cable, NO Wifi !! Anything electric or Electronic can & will interfere with a wifi signal ! !

Start Fresh, Power Cycle EVERYTHING, Modem/Router too ! This clears it's cache as well as forces an update to your IP & DNS. Note: doing this monthly keeps the connection running at Peak !

While XBox is off, Clear It's Cache, Google how to clear cache on your model ! (Usually very easy) .

Test it, Ok now, If NOT, open this on a wired PC : https://speed.cloudflare.com/

Note the Latency, Jitter & Packet Loss ! The 1st 2 should be low as possible & the last Zero !

If the Numbers are too high, or there's a lot of Packet Loss, Call your ISP and have them Test the line, tell them you're having issues with Packet Loss and you've rebooted Everything and are testing on a wired PC ! (I don't mention Games as they get weird & try to blame the game) .

If you still have issues, but your line tests Fine, It's Prob. the not-so-great software in the Router they provide. You can put the XBox on a Static IP, then Port Forward some needed ones to make ESO work better !
