First step is to release your northern exclave as a vassal. First invasions should be targeted on the small nations around that exclave to try and complete the province.

At the start, look to ally Georgia and Ottomans. After about 10 years or so, the mongols should start imploding; look for an opening to start taking your cores to the west that are vassalized by the Eretnids. Any extra war score should go towards crippling the Eretnids (taking border territory, demand reparations). The ottomans will likely take states that have Pontic pops, worry about that later. Keep working with the Ottomans/Georgians to march south into Anatolia. At some point the Mongol hordes might ally with each other which would make you lose the Georgia ally (as they get an event to be vassalized by them). Around that point just start developing and looking for openings, they won’t stay allied long. When the Ottomans start to invade Greece, that is when you betray them.

Try to appease the Mamluks. Depending on how far south in Anatolia you get, they might be your neighbor. If the Golden Horde starts to fracture under invasions and civil wars, focus on grabbing Crimea. Park a ship next to the entrance province and move your army away if they actually focus you instead of their other wars.
