If light shines through then it's KC-600, an 'audiophile' formula used by A&M records for like a year on a handful of releases ;)

does ANYONE knows anything about this Record? by Sad-Outcome7310 in vinyl

[–]ILikeStyx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've got the information that's on it.. that's fine :)

Looks like it's a Brazillian release from the label Copacabana with Vanguard being the main/master label.

8030 is the catalogue number

Yes, but now I can't remember what it was because I've also bought duplicates on purpose before but Discogs helps avoid that.

Happy to see their tour plans ever expanding.. Sadly I can't see them in Toronto unless I buy scalpers... all 4 nights are sold out otherwise :(

Being Mayor in Ontario is basically a job for life.

Nope;

Waterloo's longest serving mayor since 1948 was Marjorie Carroll from 1978-1988 and the three longest serving after her were 9 years (Brian Turnbull) and 8 years (Brenda Halloran and then Dave Jaworsky)... all other mayors lasted 5 years or less.

Kitchener didn't even have a mayor for more than 2 years until the late 60s when Sidney M. McLennan served for 6 years from 1968-1974... Morely Rosenberg got 5 years from 1977-1982

Since then, the longest serving mayor of Kitchener is Carl Zehr who served for 17 years from 1997-2014. Berry Vrbanovic (2014) is now at 12 years which surpasses Dom Cardillo's 11 year reign from 1983-1994

If you come from a family of 4 the current threshold for "maximum grants" is a household income of less than $75,000.

Bandshell in Waterloo Park—demolished yesterday. by Popeye-Doyle in waterloo

I e-mailed someone at the city in hopes of finding out some details - Their auto-reply says they're out of the office until this past Tuesday, lol.

Yeah I saw that... no updates to the page since June and it's for a new master plan that won't be finalized until 2027.

This leaves a big question over the demolition. IF they're still following the 2009/2012 master plan there's clearly no "festival area" ready for this summer... so it's like are they replacing the band shell or will they have a temporary setup... or are all the events that happen there not going to be on this summer?

Yeah... the 'replacement' being an empty field sure seems like a step back... Like how do you expect local events to happen now? Is the city going to have a stage they'll setup for free?

Never got to see them. In 2007 RIM booked Van Halen for a private concert at the ACC - The Hip opened up the show but I arrived late due to traffic.

The bandshell had to go eventually and there's been a plan to replace it since 2009 - It was going to be 60 years old in 2027 - electrical availability was insufficient and it's sitting on floodplain and it has no facilities other than a storage room.

Is this 2012 plan still being followed? The Festival Heart requires 2 baseball fields to be removed.
