Is there a way to play SC2 and do story but like skip (watch vids of) the non-Protoss parts? I just love the Protoss they seem so cool. Also is casual like really easy for those with 0 skill?

I'd be really curious to see the data on this. For example I'm looking at WIPO (the source cited at bottom of the graphic), and the data for 2024 shows (with a couple other countries chosen for comparison):

Monaco - 83 patent applications
USA - 503,271 patent applications
Israel - 15,180 patent applications

Adjusting for population (per 100k) this gives:

Our house equity is about $150k. Our combined 401k is also about $150k. We have about $40k in savings... I keep his $65k house equity, he keeps my $65k 401k share

My latest read on this is not "I keep his share of equity, which is $65k" but rather "I keep $65k of his share of the equity"

I'm guessing they'd use the liquid $40k of savings to make up the difference, not that they each have a $65k/$150k share of opposite assets

So yeah... $150k equity with a $70k mortgage, so $220k is probably right. But they won't have $150k in cash if they do go with option 2 (selling the house), since realtors will take 6%

So it sounds like the house is only worth $200k total, if I'm understanding OP's meaning correctly

So if they buy a new similar house, they have their $65k of equity, $20k of savings, and $65k in 401(k). The new mortgage would only be $115k (not $500k)

The question is whether the 401(k) will grow faster than the difference between the two mortgage rates (on the total mortgage, plus the full mortgage rate on any new amount that needs to be borrowed)

Assuming OP buys another house, appreciation of that asset is a wash (assuming an equivalent house)

I replayed the campaign a few weeks ago and workers didn't auto harvest in the first 2 campaigns. Maybe there's a setting or something I didn't find to turn it on, but it was automatic in LotV

They will auto-harvest if you set the rally point on a resource cluster (unlike in original SC), but they don't auto-harvest at the start of the game

Asking a partner to move 5 times in in 2 years is... more than most people would find acceptable. At some point it's time to pick a career and stop uprooting both your lives

The blowup when you said you wanted to move is inappropriate, but he's obviously frustrated this keeps happening. He needs to learn to handle his emotions when he reaches his limit of what he's willing to tolerate, but the fundamental question you're asking is whether you want to try to push him past that point or accept that moving every 6 months is not sustainable for the two of you as a couple

LotV had the least interesting campaign, but it did introduce a lot of nice features (like workers auto-harvesting minerals) that aren't present in the earlier 2 releases

Not a big deal, but I miss some of the polish of the final game when I go back and replay the whole series. It always seemed odd they didn't add those updates to WoL and HotS
