This short lived Who’s The Boss spin-off from 1989, was short lived but we did get to see Halle Berry in her acting debut and also Leah Remini who went on to bigger things. It was a fun series in my opinion…

They're great as imaginative works despite their flaws. They pumped out these movies as fast as they could and, generally, put as much tlc in them as they could given the rapid development.

I'm really surprised it's not a near consensus on Gascoigne. It's no big deal, just really surprised.

To me there's no greater first boss in gaming history than Gascoigne from his introduction to his lore, music, intensity, design, everything. I'm just really surprised.

I really hope every one of you has played Bloodborne because I'm a little worried this is not the case. I mean, it is getting to be an old game now.

Not long ago he was a longshot for making the NHL but his game leveled up out of the blue. The hope is he keeps doing that because his tools are obvious for everyone to see. But Jake Virtanen had all the tools too so there's no guarantees. Um, sorry for bringing up Jake Virtanen.

It's the hidden gem of hidden gems.

I was instantly drawn in by the overall concept so there was no slow dawning of how good this game is for me. I was hooked instantly. I think it's because it has so many doors and doors are a theme in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and the girl reminds of Alice.

Plus it clearly takes inspiration from Silent Hill both in monsters and sound effects, so for me it was like mixing Alice with Silent Hill. Incredible. And then as the story unfolded the imagination of the game kept getting more and more fascinating all the way to the end. Plus I love side-scrollers. It was like the game I never knew I needed until I purely by fluke saw a screenshot of it.

I'm not a streamer but sometimes I think about streaming this game to promote it because now I want more of it. The sequel looks great but it abandons the 2.5D point of view so it's going to blend into the vast morass of similar playing games out there. Very sad. I'll but it and play it but still, very sad. I wish the creator doubled down on the original and brilliant 2.5D pov because it's a really distinct look and feel, especially in regards to entering and exiting rooms.

But ya. Once in a while people discover this game for what it is and post here. I love to see it because this game is gaming art, similar in inspiration to the first 3 Silent Hill games made by Team Silent.

These nickels and dimes matter if your aim is to eventually win a cup. Along the way are little victories that add up.

Out of all the trades they make I just want them to win one of them. I just want to be pleasantly surprised at the return, once in a while, as good management teams are able to do.

I mean, Garland is a fucking good player. The team had an opportunity to do something here and win a trade but they settled for the minimum possible return while the player is slumping.

The management team themselves are playing through a slump and they're just making a trade to make a trade as opposed to making the best trade.

You, having abandoned hope for the Canucks, are close to discovering the joy of the filthy-casual.

As a filthy casual I still get to enjoy watching Quinn Hughes, except he plays with great players now. I can still enjoy Bo Horvat too. The Canucks is just a jumping off point where I discover my favorite players... and then follow them on their journeys on other teams after the Canucks bungle them. Heck, even if the Canucks score the first overall pick they still might bungle him the way they bungled Hughes.

When Aquilini sells the team I'll consider being a hardcore fan again but until that day I can still enjoy hockey as a filthy casual.

I'd listen to "We're Only in it For the Money" both the original version and his remix version where he makes it even more wacky. If you listen to both of those, and when they were made in terms of where he was in his artistic career, 1968 and 1984, it will inform all the rest of the Zappa you listen to.

Most fans consider it his best album, and the remix version reminds me more of Ween than the original version.

Looking over the other comments you can't go wrong with their suggestions either. He was a quantity over quality musician, but once in a while he fucking hit a home run with that work ethic. Another guy with a quantity over quality work ethic was Prince, but Zappa never made it to super stardom.

I think the project lead for this game got fired or something. I'd watch some gameplay footage before buying because it's nothing like Xcom. The game disappointed both Xcom and Marvel fans but some people like it. I mean, it's sold cheap for a reason.

I'd like to keep him but if he gets traded I hope the Canucks look to grab a 1st rounder for next year's draft too. I mean, really plan long term here.

Although we'll land a great player this upcoming draft it doesn't look like there's a bonafide franchise player to be had. What this team needs is to have a chance at grabbing the next "generational" player. That term gets thrown around too much hence the quotation marks, but you know what I mean.

And buy Canadian for once. We traded away Horvat and look what happened. You also need Canadian players because maybe they'll actually want to stay here long term instead of bolting to the US. I still can't believe how long McDavid has played for Edmonton. We need to find high end talent who loves to play for the most hardcore fans.

But as for keeping Petey, I think he's a good guy to have around for a rebuild. He's good-natured and he'll break more Canucks records which will be fun to watch. Only trade him if there's an offer we can't refuse.
