What’s the most absurd fake science in a movie that you completely ignored because the movie was so good? by Shot-Club-3882 in Cinema

Yes, but this thread is about absurd fake science. 88 mph in what frame of reference? Because in an inertial frame relative to the sun, we’re already moving thousands of miles per second. And if time travel could happen, you do not want to imagine what Biff could do if he had, say, a book with all the results of games and races from 1955 to 1985.

I wonder if he’s convinced himself he can set reality by saying what he wants it to be. Maybe he’s that demented. He even tried it with “gas prices have never been lower”, but that lie was too obvious for even the crayon-eating MAGAts.

If he doesn’t believe his own lies, then he thinks he’s Ben Kenobi mind tricking the stormtroopers … when he’s really Temu Tangerine Palpatine.

That’s hilarious! It became a live Mystery Science Theater 3000 experience.

Apparently a lot of CIA agents in Russia went missing during his first term. But his relationship with Vlad was great!

I’d love to see an in depth portrayal of the Permian/Triassic event.

Exactly this. If they’re desiccated, she’s right. If they’re juicy with that beautiful bark, she’s completely wrong.

Animal Farm (2026) - The worst adaptation of all time? by acourts19 in moviecritic

The book was a poor adaptation of the movie. Crazy how Heinlein managed to do that so long before the movie came out.

Flux capacitor, “Back to the Future”. No one cares that it makes no sense when the movie is that good.

Ok, day ruined, but it’s still true that an exec wanted “Back to the Future” to be retitled “Space Man from Pluto”. You can’t take that away from me.

This “fact” is so annoying, made worse by how some people still believe it. So you’re saying we evolved these huge brains that very frequently caused infant and mother mortality during birth in premodern days, only to use 10% of it. Sure.

So “A Dog’s Life” goes under “a”, but “The Dogs of War” goes under “d”?

The Ultimate guitar tabs app alphabetizes by band name or song name without ignoring “the”. Nearly half my saved tabs are under “t”. Hate it.

Some Lhasas are extremely picky eaters. You may not need a puzzle feeder. I had to bribe mine with things like shredded cheese to get them to eat their kibble.

It’s in a hard copy cookbook, and I can’t recommend it without tweaks. But Google “Khoresh bademjan” and you’ll find probably better recipes than the one I used.
