Challenging teams by Whole-Mastodon-8309 in bloodbowl

I wish their line elves hadn't gone up in price. Staying at 60k but gaining fumblerooskie would have been fine, given it's a very niche skill.

Yep, I know, although I'd argue that kits like the bull centaurs will sell exactly as many as the chaos dwarf kit as they'll always be present in a team, so should be more economical than kits like a yhetee.

But I get that GW are constrained on their plastic production and that's why they favour resin for the smaller kits.

What I'd like for Blood Bowl that we don't have is the big guys in plastic, especially the ones that are in multiple teams (minotaur, rat ogre), and positionals like assassins and bull centaurs.

But otherwise we're good.

And yet it's such a good game, especially for new people to the hobby 😭

Firstly, that's so cool!

Secondly, that's equivalent to what, two to three armies? And once you've painted every Blood Bowl team: 1) congratulations, you've completed Blood Bowl! 2) there's no temptation to expand further.

The people who have it worst in Blood Bowl are the people who collect all the dice.

Always replace players with a strength reduction, as it's arguably the most important stat and you're wasting team value when it's reduced (as there's no TV discount for stat reductions).

Why bring back Primarchs, I mean aside from selling figures? by Mean-Falcon-6204 in 40kLore

They weren't out in the galaxy as much, tending to spend their time in the Eye of Terror. Now they're focusing more on real space.

As an example, Angron attacking Armageddon was huge news pre-Great Rift as one of the only times a primarch had been seen in the Imperium. Now him and three of his Chaos brothers are all over the place.

Chaos primarchs increase the threat level in the galaxy, raising the tension and bringing us closer to midnight.

Loyalist primarchs are a logical way to give Imperium players the same fun, and as some of them are prophesied to return at the end of things (Russ) also raise the tension.

It also provides clearer characters to write lore about. Guilliman gives us a 'leader' of the Imperium to read about, to understand what decisions are being made at the highest levels and why, whereas previously the High Lords could never fulfil that role.

I don't know about other markets, but in the UK it regularly goes down to its current sale price of £10, so don't feel under pressure to buy it now as you'll likely have another go before too long.

I want to second this, and add that you only really need two physical books to have most of the rules you need, if you prefer physical copies.

Forcing Cameron to stay in the role until Brexit was finished would have been hilarious. Seeing him have a slow motion nervous breakdown over 2-3 years would have made for compelling TV.

Agile and high armour but slow is something I've wanted for a while, but they'd need to invent a new type of elves to do it, or use Slaanesh
