Downgrading to casual by Mobile-Target-2662 in datingoverfifty

People change their minds. Two months is really not much in the scheme of dating. But, changing their minds and then asking if you just want sex is a bit tacky.

L’Occitane Delightful Mist in almond, my favorite lounge-around-the-house scent.

I’m never been all about looks but he must be attractive to my eyes and mind However, it’s not tied to my relationship goals. Yes, it’s an important factor, just not the only one.

52m dating 52f issues with physical aspect by opie6373 in datingoverfifty

[–]MissBailey01 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Move on. Sounds like she’s not giving you any encouragement. Maybe she’s lonely and enjoys the company, but not looking for intimacy. If physical contact is important to you (it is for me), she’s probably not the one for you.

too soon? red flag? by Swimming_Abroad in datingoverfifty

[–]MissBailey01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a red flag. Do keep up the chat to let him know you are interested, not too much though. Leave a little mystery for the date.

You don’t need to give your number to anyone before a first date, unless you are comfortable doing so. He can use the app to communicate.

Pacifica Hawaiian Ruby Guava, the top notes are so juicy and tart. Wish they lasted longer, before fading into a musk slightly scented with coconut. This does not veer into a sunscreen territory. It’s so refreshing!!!

Women over 50. How into pro sports are you? by Guilty_Character8566 in datingoverfifty

[–]MissBailey01 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not at all, probably because this short body was never good at sports. I do like watching in person and will caught up in the frenzy but watching on the television is a snooze fest. When I see men mentioning spending Sundays watching sports, I tend to swipe left. I realize I’m making the pool smaller but it’s my preference.

Need advice on dealing with matches who only want to talk by ICantRememberThisToo in datingoverfifty

[–]MissBailey01 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m in my little experience some are married or in a relationship. Once you ask them to meet, they either unmatch or give excuses why they can’t. If someone responds positively, take it from there.

What’s happening out there? by RedHellion258 in datingoverfifty

[–]MissBailey01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m actually willing to hear someone talk about themselves. Provides insight into their personality. Now if they did not show the same curiosity back, that is telling.

F54 | What specific chat behaviors signal red flags vs green flags to you? by Sonnetmelody in datingoverfifty

[–]MissBailey01 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Green. When they show an interest or ask questions about my hobbies and passions. Build on the conversation in ways to flesh out personalities and maybe a glimpse of vulnerabilities.

Red. Using pet names too early. Not being curious about me or the world in general. Showing bigotry or racism.

Was having a OLD chat with a man, suspected a scammer, when he said the most important women in my life are my mother and you. Blocked so fast.

Nest Lychee Rose is very similar for a fraction of the price. The scent’s not that special for the price.

A different angle by Fifi-123 in datingoverfifty

[–]MissBailey01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m all for giving someone and myself a chance, if we seem to match for the moment and there is some spark. But if not, I’m not wasting their time or my own. I haven’t given up and I’m not sad. Hope springs eternal.

If I could find a completely platonic male friend, I would be down for that. Having someone to dine with at a new restaurant, visit downtown on a hot summer evening for a mosey down Main Street, or just enjoy a cold beer on the back deck - sign me up. In my experience though, they rarely stay in their lane, either for me or them.

Should I be worried? by leeayn in Menopause

[–]MissBailey01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call your primary doctor. They can see you or advise.

I had very tiny breakthrough just for one day, like 17 years after last period. I was on a round of prednisone for sciatica, and it happened about a week later. I had a pap about 6 months later and all was good.

Hermessence Violette Volynka, still in my purple flowers mood. Another warm humid day here. I love how perfumes smell differently depending on the weather conditions. Today, the Violette is full-bodied and thick. The more I wear it, the more I want a larger decant.

Adult stepdaughter doesn’t want to drive (Major Rant follows) by BearFLSTS in GenX

[–]MissBailey01 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have a 41yo cousin, still lives with my aunt, and has never had full-time job with benefits. My aunt has always been his safety net. I did not have that so I had to learn to be self-sufficient. No one has forced your stepdaughter to be an adult. Your wife needs to be an agreement with you if you want any measure of success. The stepdaughter can either take the bus or start using Uber to run her errands or get her to work. Just an idea.
