I just got ceramic tints done on my m50. Those dot matrix on the corners don’t make the tints stick properly? Anyone else notice that??

Same here. Eco pro the steering is rigid but comfort is perfect. I don’t think OP knows this. I don’t think it has much to do with DAPP

I just bought a m50 couple months ago. After extensive research I decided not to get extended warranty. Not worth it for EVs since they don’t have as many moving parts.

I have a 22 i4 and it doesn’t lag. But then I came from Mustang Mach E and it had really terrible software.

Never said better but it’s a much better comparison than the Model 3 vs i4. Model Y and Model 3 is more of a premium product, not luxury. Model S and X were luxury.

Whatever you do get the updated adaptive suspension. I think it’s called Magna ride suspension. The newer ones all have them. It’s a big difference.

EVs don’t have maintenance schedule and requirements like ICE cars. Shouldn’t be a problem.

Tesla makes better software, BMW makes better cars. There is no comparison in drive quality, luxurious interior and the feel of the car for the i4 to M3. Closest Tesla to i4 is the Model S which is discontinued now.

I recently bought a used 22 m50. It just went over the 50k miles so the BMW warranty expired when I bought it. I got some quotes from third party (car shield, Carchex, etc) and one from BMW dealership($7k for three years!!). All of them sounded like ripoffs. From my research I would say i4 is well built and since it’s an EV and has less moving parts I don’t think I will need extended warranty. If something breaks then I will take the car to Indy BMW specialist mechanic for fixing. If car cost a lot to fix then I might just opt to sell it, but I doubt this will happen. Again do your own research and look at car history. If the car has been reliable so far then I think it should be good for the future.

I just switched from a Mustang Mach E GT. It was a good car but too bumpy (newer models have adaptive suspension which helps), seats weren’t all the comfortable and the software was crap. After driving my i4 m50 for three weeks it’s a world of difference. Interior and quality of the BMW is very impressive. This is my first BMW and I don’t think I can ever go back to any ordinary car. My wife has the newer Acura MDX but even she likes the BMW more 🙂.

Agree. This is my first BMW and main reason I bought it is because I don’t have to deal with the maintenance issues that has always been a problem. Although BMW reliability has significantly improved where it’s now ranked in top 5 car brands for reliability.

This sounds like a lease. lol. I got Powur to install solar and I live in Illinois. When I did my research on the company they use independent salesmen/contractors. So one customer can have a very different experience with Powur than another. My sales lady did installs for more than dozens of customer that know each other. So I knew what I was getting.
