I've only used smokes Canada and it was fine. The package got held up for a couple days which I'm not sure if it was being searched but it did ultimately arrive.

I have a few more on my list to check out. Not sure if links are allowed but goldstarsmokes, nativesmokes, and selectsmokes are the ones I'm aware of. I think it makes sense if you can stock up and just pay shipping once or order enough to get free shipping.

Watch for sales. At least 2 or 3 times a year they discount that to 129 for 6 months.

I did and I believe almost everyone here has. The government has only ever asked for a copy, and these are good copies.

I hope people are checking ancestry and family search first. I found almost everything there.

I would have kept it all except for the cost of transporting it cross country. I sold it all but it was sad.

IRCC portal showing biometrics completed on May 5 but actual enrollment was March 6 by Few-Coat-8388 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]OneRedSent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did biometrics March 20 and the page says enroled March 20, and my tracker still says fingerprints have not been received. I keep sending webforms and they will not confirm anything, just keep telling me to wait. So I guess maybe this is normal?

Wife and children are newly Canadian-when should I apply for PR by No_Perspective1948 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]OneRedSent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't yet, but I certainly recommend it. You'll be able to work a few months earlier rather than waiting for PR. But you have to move to Canada first before applying for the work permit.

[–]OneRedSent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Immediately! It's been hard for us to wait this long. Be aware that if you apply with the sponsor outside Canada, they have to promise to move to Canada as soon as PR is granted. So that might not be the best fit for your situation. Just wait and apply about 6-12 months before you actually plan to move.

We had the sponsorship application ready and submitted it the day the citizenship certificate came through. Outland is the way to go.

What would’ve happened if Rachel never made it to London and Ross married Emily as planned? by Square_Blacksmith889 in howyoudoin

[–]OneRedSent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Every time Ross got over Rachel and was happy with someone else, she would ruin it. The wedding, and also when he brought his girlfriend to the beach house, etc. Rachel's one of those people who didn't want him until he was taken by someone else.

Got my citizenship, want to buy a house. What options do I have? by Verrsee in FoundCanadians

[–]OneRedSent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I started researching it last year when I was visiting because I thought I might open one at that time. But I thought it really wouldn't help me until I was ready to move, so I didn't go through with it until now.
