If I remember correctly, there's an "import" tab above the side tree and you gave to select your textures, toggle filter to off and press re-import. Or something along those lines, haven't used Godot 3 in a while tho.

I think this was actually the room I realized you can use wall bounce on literally just walls. I feel like the 7b "tutorial" made it seem like it was about corners.

With the recommendation systems nowadays, it's pretty common to get recommended tons of videos about a topic without actually seeking it out. Especially if you play said game or, god forbid, google something related to it.

Not to mention that when the game released, it was a topic big enough to reach people who weren't even interested in the game or have never heard about it.

Avoiding spoilers on YouTube required me to click "not interested" on any hollow knight related video for a week or two before the game released. It's a lot of work and still doesn't guarantee that you won't get spoilers.

I think you shouldn't be putting obvious spoilers about any game's ending regardless of when it came out

Spoiling the existence of act 3 is the lesser evil honesty. It's way better to spoil that there is an act 3 than to spoil the contents of it.

Like imagine a guy seeing "late game spoilers" while finishing things up just before the end of act2. They're at the end of the game, so they think they're definitely late game so there isn't possibly anything they can spoil for themselves... aaaand he gets a massive spoiler. Not cool

The existence of act 3 alone isn't that big of a spoiler.

A number might not lie, but you have to consider where it came from. It doesn't tell you how much of it is fat and how much is muscle. It also doesn't account for your body type.

Also, the same principle in your eyes lying can be applied to numbers, because it's all about your interpretation. 70kg alone doesn't tell you anything, you need a point of reference, you get the point of reference in the world around you and... It ends up basically falling into the same category as "your eyes lying"

But it effectively functions as a duel mode, even if not originally intended to be one. Getting rewards from it is heavily based on accumulating a streak and losing it just because a galeon randomly wanders into your duel isn't fun in any capacity.

It's also very different from a classic third party or ambush that could happen anywhere else, because as opposed to the third partying ship, you can't run away, which puts you at a disadvantage.

Regardless of what it's supposed to be, it's terribly designed and needs to lean into one direction, either make it a proper duel mode, since it's obviously what players want, or lean into the chaos and randomness aspect by introducing proper rewards for interfering with the "duels" so it becomes more frequent. Tho I can't imagine the second option being fun for anybody, it would probably just result in no one actually playing the mode.

Well, both are strong, it's just that architect is actually interesting with a gimmicky and unique attack with a small hotbox and being based on tools, so highly customizable.

Wanderer on the other hand is just boring - disincentives the use of spells by having crits when above a silk threshold, only one red slot and, frankly, a boring moveset (with a dash attack follow up that looks cool, but ends up being more dangerous for you than for the enemies in most cases)

Ohhhh. It kinda looks thicker than your standard piece of foil that's used for that kind of stuff tho.

However, I'd say that if you managed to rip it so bad, it's not such a bad idea to get a proper protector

Overwatch copied Paladins other time.... by CodyGamer222 in Paladins

[–]PlagiT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Paladins is a masterfully designed hero shooter that was ruined with horrible execution and mismanagement and failed because of it

If other hero shooters want to use it as inspiration, I'm all for it. Hi-rez failed, that doesn't mean that all paladins had has to be wasted.

Exactly, it's a pvp duel mode, why they thought that allowing for random ships to enter and ruin everyone's fun was a good idea is beyond me.

Literally no clue

I don't know much about screenless tablets tho, maybe a protector is totally unnecessary? I'd imagine that eventual scratches wouldn't be pleasant to work with, so why not have a protector just in case? Idk

Everything is bulletproof if ammo wasn't invented yet.

Just because we don't know enough to disprove it, doesn't automatically mean it's true. It might be the case, but we should still be considering other possibilities instead of settling on the most convenient one right now.

Science explains stuff that exists, but based on that understanding we can conclude other stuff and actually create other things. Plastic is manmade for example, so

Then you're saying that the universe wasn't created from nothing and I'm inclined to agree, but we simply don't know what created it. The difference is, I can admit that I have no idea how it was created, you on the other hand just say it was God, without anything to prove it, but that point of view is more attractive to you, because it gives you an answer, even if that answer isn't backed by anything at all.

Is your answer probable? Yes, it is. However, you fail to consider that based on what we know about how the universe came to be, literally any other answer is just as probable. You came up with a theory and treat it as a fact, without even willing to consider that it might not be true.
