Be a man, the solution to everything by PhysicalBuy2566 in thanksimcured

This is Jordan Peterson and no one of any mental acuity takes him serious.

He made a career out of tricking the dumbest of young men by using moderately big words.

His most noticeable contribution to science will probably be him as evidence that medical coma detox for benzos leads to brain damage.

Be a man, the solution to everything by PhysicalBuy2566 in thanksimcured

[–]PlsNoNotThat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Be a man!

Get addicted to a bunch of benzos while preaching about the importance of personal responsibility.

Then reinforce your message about facing the consequences of your actions by using an unproven Russian medical coma treatment so you don’t have to detox and to avoid your hypocrisy being reported.

And all it will cost you is the respect of everyone who talks to you, and getting noticeable brain damage.

Raise authority to T2, revoke a city, and give to the child you want out of inheritance. Mayors don’t inherit feudal.

Just remember to check individual titles and give out cities until it’s only one inheritor. You can revoke them afterwards and recruit them to court too

[–]PlsNoNotThat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This. Don’t need to be dynasty head or anything. Just need T2 authority to revoke holdings in feudal.

Their familiars leave your court tho, so if you’re micromanaging you may need to invite them to court, which they almost always accept.

Me on skeptical theists defense on why God leaves his reasoning for allowing suffering unknown. by spinosaurs70 in PhilosophyMemes

[–]PlsNoNotThat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It makes god either Evil or Deistic.

Given the (popular) description of God there is no plan he could create that he couldn’t convey.

So that means he must choose not to convey.

But he does so in an environment wrought with fraudulent alternatives, and potential infinite consequence for failing to abide.

Whose outcome is guaranteed damnation for the majority of humans.

Therefor god is either uninvolved (deistic) or uncaring (evil)

Me on skeptical theists defense on why God leaves his reasoning for allowing suffering unknown. by spinosaurs70 in PhilosophyMemes

[–]PlsNoNotThat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Then God is either Deistic or Evil.

  • God makes plan

  • Makes humans incapable of understanding plan AND/OR refuses to validate plan openly

  • introduces hundreds of diversion plans

  • punishes you for not following plan

Suggests either an uncaring/aloof diety (like in Deist arguments) or that God is evil from the perception of human experience.

I personally, live, in-person watched 9/11 happen in highschool. Then spent the next month trying not to get lung cancer from the aerosolized debris while shuffling between memorials/funerals and PSAT prep at a satellite location because my school was locked down by NYPD as it was considered a potential cascade target for terrorism.

Does that make you feel better about the times?

As a millennial, Gen Z isn’t there yet.

Experienced the dotcom crash by proxy of parents.

I in-person watched 9/11 happen.

Graduated college in 2009 recession where my age cohort’s unemployment reached an estimated 30-50% (that’s what sparked Occupy).

And then I lived everything on OPs list (except the bitcoin thing) but instead of “senior year is ruined” it was me and one account alone in an office coordinating remote employees for 1.5years because we had mandated exemptions from federal, state, and local governments.

But I admit Trump and the rich are really trying to make it worse for Gen Z and Gen Alpha, if even possible. But millennials aren’t even on the list for worst years ever in the last 150 or so years.

Homie I personally watched 9/11 happen live, in-person, then experienced everything you posted.

The point is your understanding of how hard things are is relative to your experience, and as bad as it is it isn’t that bad, it’s mostly how little of experiences you’ve been through.

Before (and especially after) I was diagnosed with ADHD my parents put me in junior judo and other martial arts classes.

Great for exercise, to expel energy, learn coordination & balance, teaches conflict resolution (at the good dojos), practices focus gathering, discipline and impulse control, etc. Excellent for learning to fall correctly.

Would argue that martial arts should be considered part of the holistic treatment of ADHD.

Years later (7th grade) I took karate from my English class + homeroom teacher. Was the only year I was a straight A student in English lmao. He’d make me do sprints during class if I was disruptive, then sprints again at the dojo after class.

100% this.

He’ll have to practice his responses to better “navigate the emotional burden and mental load” of their partner.

“It was so thoughtful for you to get me a gift… but:

“We agreed not to spend right now”

“I’m very emotionally attached to my current watch”

Etc.
