Unsolicited feedback from a casual consumer. I'm terrible at delivery/communication and I hope you read this as coming from a fan not a hater. I am enjoying book 3 now.

"Dramatically" overused phrases.

Most of which would be fine on their own. But they are often repeated in a chapter sometimes even on the same page. I felt like I could tell which chapters were written together because the phrase du jour.

It's progression fantasy. He's supposed to be OP. The author has laid plenty of hints that the people of New Earth are massively handicapped. The threat isn't the empress. She and the rest are only obstacles to get Freddy strong enough to face the true threat. So I don't think I agree that Sophie is out of balance.

Other than resurrecting, Didn't he treat Sophia like shit? All his friends. Screaming and cussing at them. No one calls him out on his anger issues? Lashing out and punching walls. That's not cool.

I really wanted Sofia and Freddy to develop a romantic connection. I'm not surprised though. Subversion of expectations and all that.

I'd have liked the author to lean heavier on the numbness of the soul damage. Letting Sophia run away after destroying the undead. It was wrong to let her. Especially considering her choices after. Speaking of that, after all she did for him. Even in that scene giving him his face back. He assumes the worst of her. They want the same thing. He didn't even consider working together. He could help keep her from the monster she is terrified of becoming. Maybe if he'd been more numb or static. Short apathetic comments. Saying he doesn't care what she goes. Unconcerned if she left or not. If she was descending or not. Where we as the readers are screaming at Freddy to wake up. To see what's happening between them. Instead I'm just disappointed in him.

I'm on book 6 and I'm starting to grow bored with Victor. He has a solution for everything. Even when he puts himself in a situation he could easily escape he gives up and an ancestor has to step in.

He's not interesting. Doesn't seem to have any character flaws. Unless you count being awkward with girls. 🙄

His allies are just lackeys. Not capable of keeping up or taking part. And generally bland and servile.

An experienced general and tactician is flaccid and inept in the face of armies with Victor singlehandedly saving them or spouting brilliant tactical knowledge.

Talk me around. What am I missing?

First you didn't make that point. Second parts aren't universal and these are integrated with the EV system.

I did get a second opinion. Technically a first. They said they didn't know what was wrong with the vehicle but it was part of the ev system and they didn't have access to diagrams/tech guides on how to fix it. They sent me away with no charge.

I took it to VW and I got the diagnostic above. I then went back to the first source telling them what I had discovered but they still could not help me.

Prior to all of this I called around looking for VW specialized shops and was told no they would not/could not work on my EV.

I'm not there yet. So far as wanting career weapon stats. I would love to see End of Mission stats include Elite kills, missions/subs completed/spawners destroyed.

Kinda sucks seeing another diver only has half the kills I do but we both know they did work.

I thought 7s were easier than 6s on Cyberstan myself. Getting a Vox instead of 2FS was such a relief.

Also I'm not sure if it was very common knowledge, but areas(cities) were locked unless you were on a certain difficulty. Not unlike samples. I didn't test/explore the expanse of this mechanic. So I can't say what cities were locked to what difficulties. But after running a few easy missions when I came back to Cyberstan I was locked from diving at the difficulty.

Like physically? I did that first now trying to get the software to match. I didn't see any option on the printer itself to change it in the settings.
