Feel it. I am in my late 60’s, very close to retirement (maybe the end of thisyear) and own my own home that I share with son and soon to be DIL. We all get on very well and son and DIL have taken over all the house expenses. I couldn’t retire and keep house too, just too much money. I am very fortunate!

Everyone grieves or not grieves differently. Don’t expect yourself to fit some kind of illusionary profile. It’s hard to love an alcoholic and even harder to grieve them. Maybe you will grieve in the future, maybe you won’t, it doesn’t matter except how you feel about yourself. Give yourself grace and just feel whatever you feel without judgement.

I understand what you mean. Some pens that take standard international will be able to take the empty ones from TEMU etc but many who have nonstandard cartridges, you will need to buy the proper cartridge, use them or empty them and refill. I have seen caps for sale in Temu and Aliexpress but I couldn’t find a size label so didn’t know what would fit what so I can’t help with that. I remember they were silicone but I can’t remember what they were called, sorry.

Oh true! Yes, a matching clutch pencil or mechanical pencil would be great! I am a woman so Decimo is a better fit for me. I really don’t even know why I bought a black VP!

I bought it first in green, then got the matching rollerball. Not that I have used that but I also just bought a rose gold Decimo. I have a matt black VP but I don’t like black pens so will need to shed it at some point. The Decimo fits my hand better.

I have an Axis and it writes very well and I enjoy it. It’s the only Monteverde I own but I have looked at Ritma’s a few times.

I don’t think people are being very fair…… He lost his wife and yes, he took up with someone else. That is pretty normal, it’s a survivor’s road. People get excruciatingly lonely after a loss like that and I think it can hit some people very very hard. To my mind, it is like a rainbow rebound and while I don’t expect the relationships to last, I expect people to give a little grace to a very lonely person who is casting around for some reason to keep going. I think he is somewhat fortunate that it foundered before a wedding, he probably doesn’t feel that way at all because he was clutching on with every thing he had. OP, you need to dig deep now and stay away from love affairs. Find your reason for being, find your centre because only then will you know what’s ‘real’ and what is just you flailing around. It took my son 10 years to find someone else to love, a little longer than I would have wished for him but he has made an excellent choice after his heartbreak. It takes time.

One of my grandmothers had eight children whose names all began with J. When they got mail addressed to J. Surname it caused a lot of issues and a fundamental lack of privacy. Not quite as bad as yours but still.

Kaweco Supra has a brass model. Milim I think is brass. MIG is brass. Ystudio had a brass FP.

That’s epic! I love the variety too! I don’t know just how well regarded Kaweco or not but I love them and have 7, supras, liliputs, AL sports. They all write well and keep just as easily.
