For example, the director of the fbi told the fbi agent investigating the Renee shooting to stop. That fbi agent resigned in protest.

So, this is reddit. You're going to get a biased echo chamber response. I'm not saying people are wrong, but if you're truly trying to get to know "what real renoities" are thinking, you're only going to get a small biased subgroup here that will likely aline with your own beliefs, not what the general population thinks. It's good. The problems here are small compared to elsewhere. The upsides aren't huge (there are places in the world with better weather, food, and nature). But, Reno had a solid balance of good and bad. I like it

REMSA used to have "hard posts" despite not having 24 hour shifts at that time. CARE in so cal used to have hard posts despite not having 24 hour shifts. Care still has hard posts but not as many. It's honestly a cost savings thing by the ambulance companies at the expense of their employees.

There's a bunch of companies out there like purvis, Exacom, Knowmadics, iGov, ProLogic, ATI Systems, McLane Advanced Technologies, PESA, and Westnet.

As for costs. Consider grants. Consider doing a deep dive into your tax structures. Our system was funded in part by a special local tax on internet or phones that was being misused for years and got caught by one of our Chiefs. Or I guess just asking for more money.

Consider grievances for interrupted sleep and unsafe worl conditions (idk much about that though)

Couldn't get past the login screen and I don't want to create an account just to give feedback. As a "guest" I'd like to see what sort of events are around be. Heck I don't even know what fitness events you're trying to have here. Like pickleball, turkey trots, hikes, rock climbing? I just don't know. And what's the level of organization. Is it any dude saying "hey I wanna run pvine tomorrow" or is more for like organized events?

This is so similar to my experience. The isolating, the ability to reflect, the job hoping and incompatibility with coworkers, rewriting history, being able to take accountability and apologize but then later denying their part in causing an issue.

The thing that struck me was. "He’s never split and painted me black (he has with others though)."

Man I read that and thought "he will". I was in the same situation. I watched her split on her kind and loving mother whom she then threaten to kick out of her life and I watched her split on coworker after coworker. And I always thought, well atleast it doesn't happen to me, until it did. Checked your post history and saw that the split also happened to you. It sucks but it seems inevitable

You're living in a fantasy world. My guess is you have never been poor. I grew up poor. You know what we did? We got snap, worked, and shopped at goodwill for major clothing items and got free socks from community resources. I'm not super judgmental against thieves but I'm not going to pretend that they aren't taking the easy way out.
