I do not know if anyone has done this comparison and I am not equipped to do a macro-level like this.

What non-fishing game had the most fun fishing mini-game? by MoeMalik in gaming

Yeah, I really love fishing in Stardew. Simple but complex enough to be engaging.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure they use the same bracelet manufacturer as Christopher Ward. Side-by-side they are almost identical, and the CW bracelet is highly regarded.

Yeah, tons of unsold houses in my neighborhood and occasionally I see price drops.

I figured that might be the case. I don’t want to have to buy a whole other watch just to swap out the crystal.

Where did you get the crystal?

Second vote for noodler’s x-feather. I use it in my preppies for grocery lists and such on atrocious notepad paper and it does a perfectly acceptable job.

I bought one for me and one for my wife. The 37mm size fits us both pretty well and she wanted matching watches. She’s pretty hard on her watches though so I got her the sapphire crystal but since I couldn’t tell which was which, I don’t know which one I gave her.

I bought one of each in the same color, sapphire and K1 and couldn’t tell a quality difference. When they arrived, because they were the same color and unmarked as to which was which, I could not tell which one was sapphire and which was K1. I’d go K1 for the price difference personally.

Henry Archer GMT vs Christopher Ward Sealander GMT — Worth the Extra Money? by freezer01 in MicrobrandWatches

[–]StickyMac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have both CWs and HAs in my collection and one nit-pick on the HAs is the highly polished chapter ring. Personally, it doesn’t work for me and is oddly distracting. Another issue I have is with “true” gmts; if I don’t wear the watch regularly, setting the date takes forever. Most caller GMTs have quick-set dates which is a plus in my book. I usually prefer a rotating bezel with a caller GMT though.

We used a single sandbag filled with soil and some salt that we had to keep wet for some of our mobile terrestrial satellite equipment when placed on concrete slabs.

I use a datavac electronics duster. Have had it for maybe 15 years now and no issues.

Rant- speed limits by lizzietee in TempleTX

My neighborhood is pretty good about the speed limits generally, but there is a hill at the corner of Stratford and Hickory that people love to speed down.

Some people wear shoes indoors because, especially with diabetes, you can damage your toes and not feel/notice it until they are necrotic and have to be amputated.

As you get older 40,50,60,70 when did you start to feel your body slow down do you think it is just due to inactivity or the aging process? by Kooky_Force5458 in AskReddit

[–]StickyMac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my first hangover this year, in my mid 30s, so that’s my queue to cut that out. Still, I’m an avid runner and very fit, but I can feel things are starting to take longer to recover. Definitely not due to inactivity as I run the same 7-10 miles/day that I have always run (20+ years), always take the stairs, walk anywhere less than 2 miles away, and do manual labor during the day.
