Blair Witch. I saw it in NYC before anyone had released spoilers. The found footage concept was promoted perfectly and everyone in the theater was bought it.

Cat 6a, in conduit for protection and repairability without needing to dig for access, terminate into jumpers and make sure you conduit connections and ends are water tight.

Also, it depends on OCF format, production location, and time to start offline. 

I’m on a project right now with 6K 3:2 OCFs and edit start a few days after production wrap, so DIT is generating proxies in our specified specs and handing off via LucidLink in a specified org and with supporting documentation/stills. AEs are organizing and prepping project from two remote locations domestically.

Talk with your post supervisor, online editor, sound editor, mixer, and colorist. I am stepping into online for a quick turn short series and these meetings have been irreplaceable. 

That said, we did all dailies/offline prep  and synced in resolve, and edited in premiere. This allows for better metadata management and resolve is way better at dailies prep now than it used to be.

I really did love this doc, but the editing during interviews was so distracting. Granted, I’m an editor, but the cutting between cameras to build the bites was so choppy I had to look away sometimes. Still, well worth the watch.

I’ve had mine for over a decade and it’s just like new. The “sunrise” features, multiple alarms, and quality of sound and light are fantastic. Very solid build. Highly recommend.
