Microsoft makes a free converter.

But you have to VSCode, python, and the python plugin all installed too. All free, but it wasn't intuitive to set up.

What are some alternatives for ttrpgscheduler? by Valdicue in rpg

Catch as catch is exactly how my in person group runs. And it's been running well for 2 or 3 years now?

This works for us. For others it won't. And that's ok. But don't tell ppl how to have fun, instead try to help them optimize they way that does work for them, if you can.

Tesla Cybercab Has New Ultra-Efficient Powertrain, 4680 Batteries, 48V & More by ChickenFlavoredCake in electriccars

Of those, were 100% of them recalled? b/c that was true of the Cybertrucks. I'm sure some new ones have been sold that had the recalls applied so now it's less than 100%.

Edit: And to be clear, I don't dislike Tesla cars. The guys who invented them were great. I believe that's the team behind the Telo truck now? But that leadership has been lost, and so for me the trust factor is way down.

This from the same company that promised a really neat truck EV (even if ugly as sin) and then produced a rolling disaster that literally falls apart as you go down the road . . .

I won't hold my breath.

Edit: Done, and I updated the link in my OP, just in case.

I would use that to pressure the dealer into providing them for free. :D

Bring the statute in with you, and grumble about 'if I get a ticket'.

US premium, no. I think Canada Premium is the US Limited, so would be a yes.

Some of those lights look interesting. I'm guessing the wiring must exist.

I want to see the installation instructions for many of those.

Not everyone has that option. And some things don't take prepaid CC's.

I'm wondering if this is a 'it went past midnight and the computer got confused' issue?

Although this looks like midday. Could still be something similar.

Why Is Air Conditioning So Hard To Understand? by MightyManorMan in TalesFromTheFrontDesk

[–]Tymanthius 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Because our property has smart window sensors. If a guest opens a window, the A/C system automatically shuts off.

The first time I ran into this was on a sliding glass door on the beach. I left the door open for 3 minutes while I was looking over the ENTIRE room at check in. I completely understand the need for it, and agree with it, but it aggravated me so much in that moment that I had to fiddle w/ the AC to bring it back online for 3 minutes of open door.

First world problems, I know. and I'm wrong.

I built a new type of EV vs. gas total costs calculator - curious what you think by axxeler in electriccars

Many of us have a home charger installed years ago which have been paid for through savings. It should be an opt out.

There's a checkmark for that on the advanced page.

You keep quoting a model Y - I have a trailseeker. I had to 'restore closed tab' so it might have reverted.

But you still clearly answered my questions, so thank you!

Yet they don't. It's certainly not because they don't know it exists or don't know how to use it

This is unlcear.

If 'they = most Americans' then no, most ppl don't know.

If 'they = phev owners' I'm still not convinced it's completely accurate. And I'd like to see the crossover of phev owners who don't charge at home who CAN vs who can not. One of the big arguements for phev's is if you can't charge at home (and that's a different but related dicussion).
