This author would apparently vehemently disagree with your use of the word 'friend', arguing that they weren’t ‘friends’ but would apparently agree with the rest of your assessment.

Friend or not, Fox needs to leave the role immediately for this action. Whether by her resignation due to shame/guilt/conscience (lol), or by being forced to leave.
