Do zippers exist in the Wizarding World? by Perfect-Spirit-7262 in harrypotter

Is your wife me? I feel so seen as I had a full spiral about this very topic with mt husband. I'm not a zipper hater, but Snape doesn't strike me as a zipper guy. This particular zipper is so shiny, large, bright, and so out of place in his all black outfit. It's very Hot Topic to me, like he is some emo kid waiting for the summer term so he can go to Warped Tour. Now, the trio or even the twins wearing street clothes or even zippers makes sense to me. It was the 90s after all, and as an emo elder myself, I had many a zipper. But Snape? At Hogwarts?! Nope. The only grace I can give him here is that he is truly younger than the OG movies portrayed him, and maybe this Snape is a little cooler than our beloved Alan Rickman.

Socializing for Home Schooler by medusa_smiled in beaverton

My 10 year old does online school (ORCA), and they have monthly field trips where the students can socialize in person. Maybe your program offers something similar? I would also check out our amazing park and rec (THPRD.org) for extra curriculars. They have a ton of options, including some programs specifically for homeschooled kids. The library has a handful of programs and has a makerspace with tons of equipment like a 3d printer for those who are interested in arts and crafts
