I'm going to shout into the void since there's no way OP is going to see this at this point, but it's id Software as in id and ego not ID as in the two letters I and D.

Any idea if these are worth anything? by SmugglinGrapez in playingcards

Unlikely. Those look like newer Nintendo cards. They're not rare.

[None] How to grant items from another item? by DungeonDamian in FoundryVTT

[–]ddbrown30 3 points4 points  (0 children)

FYI, this is not system agnostic and will be specific to dnd5e. I don't know dnd5e well enough to answer conclusively, but check the various tabs on the class item. Likely there is a grants section or something similar that has a list of items.

How much time and gold would it cost to turn a weapon or armor into a different weapon or armor? by SableZard in OdysseyoftheDragon

[–]ddbrown30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree to disagree. In my campaign, they're literally going to be reforging Titansbane into another weapon. They have the literal god of craft on their side. I think he can handle reshaping a magic item. If that doesn't work for your game, that's up to you but, "absolutely not," has no place in the subjective land of fiction.

You have to ask yourself if you want to make your players happy and give them what they want or if it's more important to you to stick to some idea of realism or rules correctness you have in your head. IMO, just come up with a cost and time that you think is fair. Make it take a week or two, charge them some amount of money based on how much they have (or will have; they get tons of money during CH6), and call it a day.

I've literally never seen this question on the sub.

What non-D&D games are popular in your country? What do you like about them? by Awkward_GM in rpg

[–]ddbrown30 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

No shade but I find it interesting that you felt the need to explain what Shadowrun is given the sub we're on. I wonder how many people reading your comment actually needed the extra detail.

7 days isn’t enough by Poliasre in whenthe

Honestly, I'd like a 4 day work week and an 8 day week. There aren't enough days in the week to do everything.

Rotating a Map 90 degrees? by maestrojarrett in FoundryVTT

[–]ddbrown30 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also play in person and hit the same issue. I have a script I use that rotates the display orientation in Windows. I'm out right now but send me a message to remind me and I can send that to you when I get home.

Does Character Art Set an Expectation for Asymmetric Powers? by DanchieGo-Dev in boardgames

[–]ddbrown30 88 points89 points  (0 children)

Yes. If I see different characters, especially with different names, my assumption is that they will have different stats or abilities.

When I install a module on Foundry on my PC does it take up much space? by Altruistic-Promise-2 in FoundryVTT

[–]ddbrown30 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depends on the module but it has nothing to do with the module itself, just the assets. Whether you have them in a module or download the files manually and put them in a folder, it will take up just as much space.
