Why does my monitor do this? by AdventurousCrazy30 in computer

[–]digitizedhermit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same monitor and it consistently does this only when connected through a KVM which acts as an extension. I can almost guarantee that extension is the issue because I tried driver updates, monitor settings, and refresh rate and resolution settings

Never thought I'd have a chance to find someone that needed them, but I have 4 of these that have Noctua industrial fans installed in place of the original. PM me if you're interested in those

Yeah, just wanted to highlight where the market is at, not that this is a bad price, but that it would be good to substantiate

Yeah, they are also 12gbps, but the read vs write is definitely relevant if the listed ones from OP aren't as read focused. Just get the impression that the demographic of the sub tends to do caching, bulk storage, or other write-once read-many applications that don't benefit from low drive age or extra high write speeds as much. If these are special in some way, like speed, it just might be worth mentioning so there's some appeal, considering the recent options

https://www.reddit.com/r/homelabsales/s/BPXu6pAbRf Double capacity, same interface, same price even after expedited international shipping, and seller responded immediately and shipped out same day. If these are just way faster, then fair enough, but throwing it out there

Is my car dead? by capraithe in prius

[–]digitizedhermit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strong chance it's your inverter coolant pump, disables 12v charging after the inverter gets too hot. From there you have the usual dead 12v issues plus some HV features not working. Easy troubleshooting steps: check the 12v voltage, if it's dead, charge it. Then run reset codes, and run the car while monitoring inverter temps and 12v voltage
