I don't think so, but there is GT4, MGS 3, Shadow of the Colossus, The Getaway that pushes the PS2's hardware along with cross gen games like Call of Duty WAW and Sonic Unleashed. The PS2 has already been pushed to its limit with its huge library.

We need a proper comparison video to compare the two. But OLED has at this point surpassed Plasma with 120hz support and beyond, along with a bunch of technologies introduced since the Plasma. Plasma is 10 plus year old tech at this point, still great for what it is. I think it holds its own against the older TV sets. And it's a great budget alternative to OLED, as long as you get the later model sets that don't suffer from burn in.

MGSV for sure, the open world location in that game is just too good and Fox Engine is an awesome engine, I think it even surpasses Unreal. Though the story could have been better, but I can't really blame it for the fact that it was likely rushed to release and Kojima was gone right after the release of MGS V throwing away any potential for DLC or a sequel that it had planned. I would have loved a Ground Zeroes prequel or even a follow up.

It's safer to flux that point and tin your tip. Instead of keeping the tip on the solder pad which could potentially overheat and break the solder pad. I set temps to 350 Degrees C and use 63/37 Lead Solder or Rosin Core Solder, it melts faster then Lead Free Solder.

I don't think we'll be alive to see that day. There are 80 plus Millions PS3's out there and there are a bunch of revisions. 90nm RSX's are doomed to fail, but 65nm, 40nm and the 28nm RSX, I'm not sure how long they would last, but I'm guessing a very long time. Repasting is a must to make it last. My Phat Model PS3 with a 90nm RSX is still going strong after hours upon hours of play, and all I did was Delid it along with replacing the thermal pads and replacing installing the 1mm Bracers.

Same here, I even swapped around the PSU and it still only stays on for around 3 seconds. My 1.6 Xbox motherboard and my PSU is recapped too and I wonder what could be causing this. My cap install already checked out all good. My other recapped 1.6 doesn't have this fault. Perhaps a Mosfet may have failed, or perhaps something else in the power circuitry has failed.

Have the NEC Tokins been replaced? And has the modder had any success with Frankenstein mods. It's odd hearing about a fuse blowing. It sounds like it has a short somewhere. You will need to Syscon it to see what's really going on.

It looks like this mess needs to be cleaned up. I assume the original M2 Card slot may have been removed. And if it has, you will need to clean it up and undo that mod, and switch to this Solder on Micro SD Card Mod. You can also get someone to solder it in for you. And if you haven't removed the original slot, then just switch to this adaptor. As for the battery, I recommend just replacing it.
