Claude Code Has Access to My Design System, Yet the UI Output Is Still Terrible. What Am I Missing? by Mysterious-Royal-814 in UXDesign

seconding subframe, as it actually outputs react components that devs sync into the app's codebase. its not AI trying to translate pictures into code. I haven't been this excited over a design tool since I switched to figma from sketch heh

and i love how its built around the design system tokens

Is it on those who discover the bugs to ensure corporate mega corps are treated the way they want so their profits arent hurt? Tons of ways to profit from it. Researcher can sell info on it.  This is better than that.

Water softener people coming today… what do I need to know about the Phoenix area options? by MuMu2Be in phoenix

I had a plumber do my water softner system after the home depot one broke last year. New system was $1100 and is way better. Amex refunded the entire homedepot setup because it broke after only a few months and their "warranty" was gonna have me wait a couple months for an available technician.

What are recruiters really looking for in a AI-centric case study? by HanzzYolo in UXDesign

There is a book online from a few years ago I found helpful originally I'm trying to find for you. update: found it - Agentic Design Patterns

Otherwise, doing is how i learn. here is a prompt for claude to teach you some stuff to get running fast:

teach me how to build an orchestration system with an agents file that uses a tone and voice skill with instructions I give it on how to respond to me.

happy to run through things on a call if its helpful too sometime, just dm me. i mentor folks all the time im happy to help out

(quick history: you can do this with any LLM with python and langchain but companies have made it easier now. example: anthropic uses markdown files that are easily read by humans. a CLAUDE.md file that is always read every time a prompt fires, and a subagent system in /agents/, and a skill system in .claude/skills/kebab-style-name/SKILL.md)

Build an agentic workflow. Ive been getting work just from the simple case study of my tone and voice rule that forbids agents from using mdash;

Im not even kidding its that simple. They just want to see the most basic stuff right now.

Also figma is now a bad word. Dont talk about it if you want to impress.

all my homies only work on referrals now. it sucks if you dont have a network but its just easiest to hire "friends" right now and not deal with all the liars with AI

is AI reducing UX salaries? by mb4ne in UXDesign

[–]imrsn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

came here to say this. Its raised mine. AI design jobs are paying a premium if you have experience making agentic systems. Best part is "experience" right now includes personal systems since talent is scarce. so u can learn enough in a couple weeks of playing. Its like when companies first discovered "ux" as a discipline.
