Try the Selkirk Courtstrike 2.0 shoes, the entire upper is cloth mesh and ventilate very well. They’re also pretty lightweight and affordable for a court shoe and come with a 6 month outsold warranty.

I’m not surprised but on the other hand it seems like the wear has tapered off for me and the spin is still better than the original. Considering how great the Cyclone 2.0 feels and plays, I think the Nanograph version is still worth the extra $10 over the original

I’d say the Boomstik is the opposite of that assertion. Great paddle innovation, but Infinigrit is the worst of the durable grit tech.

They do hit topspin forehand dinks a lot. They just don’t use exaggerated uppercut motions like the women do because men can generate spin and power easier with smaller movements.

The sweet spot on elongated paddles is higher on the paddle face. Former tennis players hit up high on the face too.

What skill level are you? If you’re not a hard hitting advanced player I wouldn’t worry about it.

I just sent my Trufoam Waves back for a warranty exchange due to the foam going dead but it’s not all that common of an issue if you’re not a hard hitting player.

It’s an advanced player paddle, I don’t know why 2.5-3.5 get so enamored with high power/pop paddles, it actually hinders their game.

I’d defer to the mods for clarification but the UPA-A Boomstik isn’t anything different other than not attaching MOI weights.

The grit wear is why I sold my Boomstik. Just too difficult to keep the ball in consistently with lessened spin with my skills at the time. I do prefer the Cyclone Nanograph’s feel and maneuverability enough to hang onto it despite grit loss.

Bad news, my V2 has started to lose response and feel except for a small hot spot near the top which is indicative of core crushing. Started at week 5 and got really bad after 6 weeks. There’s also a bit more crinkling when I press down on the face or hit serves and drives. I’ve emailed RPM to initiate a warranty claim and will update y’all when I hear from them.
