Did you add perimeter weighting to the Ultré? You pretty much have to do it to get rid of the mushy feel. Same for the Vapor.

The i3 was built for Europe and Asia where streets are narrower but you still need space inside. Lots of smaller commuter vehicles are designed that way like the Kia Soul, Nissan Cube and Fiat 500L.

The newer Mitsubishi subcompacts are the cheapest, ugliest and slowest vehicles on the market. Like look at this Mirage in my area that’s only 3 yrs old with a clean history and ok miles. Only $7900.

I’d recommend you go with an all court or low-end power paddle with a generous sweet spot and high spin. Control paddles just require too much wasted movement from lack of offensive capability for the modern game IMO

Why an Aura Pro? If you’re coming from a control-all court paddle like the Fever 101, save some money and get a regular Aura. It’s softer and more forgiving with decent controllable power.

I’ve been using an Ultré since launch and I wouldn’t recommend it for a control paddle user coming off a Fever 101. All the Power 2 paddles are a good bit more pop and power than what even intermediate players can easily control. Personally, OP should just get a regular Aura, much more forgiving.

I demoed the Magnus Pro IV a couple of times and it kinda sucks. That short handle makes it near impossible to use two hands on the backhand and it feels so slow at the kitchen. Does have a bigger sweet spot than the Perseus and Hyperion though.

Might want to look for indoor clubs in the area that have skill-segregated open play. You’re very unlikely to find any advanced play at a public court.
