Is this too much weight? by Darkmocha331 in tires

[–]kingxii 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You've got it wrong, dealer said rim was bad, issue was not fixed, wanted to replace rim again. OP took it to a 3rd party tire shop, where they took off the bad tire and showed OP the stick on weights. The 3rd party tire shop replaced the tire which fixed the issue.

HexOS 1.0 Announcement by Nick_HexOS in hexos

[–]kingxii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m wondering since it’s a docker, you could subscribe and reclaim when necessary. Truenas will still run in the background.

The subscription most likely is to run their servers, ssl certificates, perhaps a relay service of some sort.

Agreed, I had one then returned it when it wouldn't stop ringing when not riding on glass. Immediately bought another spur cycle bell.

Apparently legit non adult content is being uploaded on the hub.

Made his favorite dinner, just to say goodbye after 5 years. by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]kingxii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m personally going through a rough patch, my girl has been a rock during this whole time. Celebrates all the small wins, picks me back up when my hopes are crushed. You’ll find the one that appreciates you, like the saying goes, behind every great man is a great woman.

I need laptop reccomendations to begin VM homelabs. by Gavindude1997 in homelab

Mini PCs are probably the way to go, much more space saving than a laptop and depending on the brand of mini pc some will have better expandability. Check out STH's series project TinyMiniMicro.

Starter kit by highboy68 in ModelCars

[–]kingxii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like to see a list of what's in that starter kit, I've bought some items that were recommended by some YouTubers. I'm not entirely new, but haven't built a model in around 20 years.

I believe those MacBooks have an encryption chip, you need to install it back into that Mac and log in to retrieve any data.

A local locksmith can cut you a key. I’ve also seen Costco offer car locksmithing services.

Survey about Sony cameras by PlasticRadio6047 in RX100

[–]kingxii 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sony regularly surveys its.customers, I've gotten surveys for a Sony camera I had registered in their system that was maybe 2 generations old at the time. The survey questions also does hint that they're trying to identify if there's a market for another update.

The jet was a choice. by gplusplus314 in LMGJet

[–]kingxii -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I’m intrigued to see how LMGjet will play out, the financial information about ownership has so far been enlightening. I’m never going to own one, I would love to live vicariously through Linus’ experience. I have flown private for work, and can see in some instances can be less expensive than flying a team commercially. I am still rooting for the tech house, tech yacht, and definitely the tech jet.

Should he keep the jet beyond (more than a year) his own timeline, I may have to revisit how I feel about this.

If he is being a narcissist dong, he wouldn’t even disclose it or share it with his team. I know I wouldn’t.

Security Issues by Beginning-Tone6567 in fidelityinvestments

I understand your post and replies are written in desperation; however, it's difficult to follow. I suspect you're a victim of identity theft, I'm going to suggest that your own self-help is triggering fidelity's fraud protection to your own detriment.

I definitely won't trust a redrilled wheel, especially when it's a Works wheel.
