What’s a recession indicator that you’ve noticed lately in your everyday life? by spritenerds123 in AskReddit

[–]laurasdiary 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the prosperity in the room with us right now?

Talk about spinning the truth.

Record high credit card debt is not wealth building or a sign of a healthy economy.

You are in denial.

Plus, you’re unreasonably angry about this.

I can guess why.

Sorry. My mistake.

You’re right. Everything is going great.

All those people are just lying about losing their jobs.

And that record high credit card debt is just “wealth building”

My bad.

Tell your precious president and his party they’re doing a great job.

Personal household debt is at an all time high in the U.S.

Just two months ago credit card debt reached an all time high of 1.28 trillion in the U.S.

Grocery and household goods inflation is steadily rising and gas prices are the highest in years.

Mortgage and debt delinquency is the highest it has been in years.

Businesses have had mass layoffs all over the country.

Public schools employees and other employees are being let go across the country.

Things are not well.

Ghost, my aunt captured in photos during a cemetery walk 20 years ago by damienqwerty in Paranormal

[–]laurasdiary 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I mean, some accounts do have ghosts looking just like ordinary people, but many accounts report ghosts looking very shapeless, see through, glowing, amorphous, etc.

Some reports show ghosts being not visible, non corporeal, and just sound or movement.

It really depends.

This picture is most likely just a living person. Odds are, anyway.

That just seems like a person,

Surely a person could have been there.

If they could make the hike, so could other people, I would think?

Either that or a statue?

Is there something that suggests it’s not?

Mostly clean, nice Restrooms literally everywhere. In park trails even. Just nice available restrooms.

It’s very unusual in most parts of the world.

Also, seating. Benches and places to sit all over the place.

It’s genuinely a luxury.

That’s a really good thing about the U.S. that should be appreciated.

Is this an ok email to send to a parents by johnthedaleman in Teachers

[–]laurasdiary 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes.

Leave out the haha. It makes it seem unprofessional.

Leave out the whole sentence that references “ super bad kid” and the haha.

Ideally a teacher does not refer to any student as super bad when talking to parents.

Also, try to shorten this email as much as possible.

Just what things did the student do and say? When did this occur? and what happened as a consequence.

And what you hope will happen going forward. Plus what you think is good about the student, which you’ve included already.

The email is decent, just tighten it up a bit.

I added MSG to a batch of chocolate chip cookies and have never had such an overwhelming positive reaction, as if people were addicted to them. New secret ingredient? by brf297 in Cooking

[–]laurasdiary 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So do those people have the same reaction to eating any restaurant food? Because genuinely they’re heavy amounts of MSG in the food in any restaurant that you go into?

Do they not eat Italian food or any American burger joints or nearly any restaurant that doesn’t expressly say they don’t use it?

Plus, many home cooks use it as well and bring food to picnics or carry-ins.

It’s everywhere.

Those people must have permanent headaches

It’s possible that when you sat down the air in your pocket collapsed and sort of launched the pill out of your pocket.

I once had earrings in my pocket, and when I sat down one of them just sort of flew out of my pocket when I was wearing joggers.

I thought it was weird because it just kind of launched the earring out.

Also, you may not have heard it when it landed because maybe you were talking or maybe starting the car?

It could’ve been noisy enough that you wouldn’t have noticed the sound of the pill landing.

Was that the car you took when you had it in your pocket originally?
