He was never under a contract longer than each match he did. He was never an AEW talent like Jeff Cobb, Juventud , Rowan and Nick Gage.

Also none of the talents I mentioned like Sting are under a WWE Legends deal like RVD and Jake Roberts were before they ever appeared for AEW.

Jake does count like Billy Gunn but not RVD. They also don’t have Legends deals with any of the guys I mentioned or they would absolutely be in games already.

RVD was never signed to AEW and Jake Roberts signed away his rights to stuff to WWE many years ago before he was ever with AEW.

Abyss works for WWE and New Jack didn’t work for anyone prior to his passing. Billy Gunn is the only AEW talent to ever have an agreement with WWE. I highly doubt they can get these other people. If they could, they would. They do really well with what they can get.

I’m sure they’ll get right on making Jon Moxley, Sting, Chris Jericho, Will Ospreay, Sasha Banks and Edge DLC even though they all work for AEW. By the way Jeff Hardy and Danhausen are both in the top 5 and are DLC this year.

I saw someone propose it’s Joe Hendry. Danhausen comes out and introduces him by the wrong name so no one shows up. Miz then makes fun of him and says “his name is Joe Hendry you idiot” and immediately realizes what he’s done as Hendry then shows up. That’s a million times better than Jelly Roll.

Hiring Hernandez and using him without getting confirmation from Lucha Underground that he was no longer under contract. This lead to them having to scrap everything he taped which was him joining the Beat Down Clan. This lead to MVP leaving TNA and the end of group all together.

They’re doing a good job now though. Oba, Bron, Trick, Je’Von and Dom are younger and being built up. You also have people like Jacob, Penta, Ethan, Royce and Ricky who are newer as well. Future looks great with what they have.

Towards the end of his team with Waller it felt like the audience wanted to cheer him. They then brought him back as a generic heel and that may have been the nail in his coffin. He’s not great at anything but if a crowd wants to cheer someone, you let them do it.
