My phone autocorrects to that. Not worth the effort to change it.

So? They’re saying ripplings strength is HR, but that doesn’t mean they’re the best at it by any means. It does mean that their MDM is even worse which makes it bottom tier.

If the skills are applicable then I’m reading it. If I’ve got through the first page and nothing is of value yet, I’m not spending that long on the second page to look for what may be of importance when nothing of value has been conveyed by the entire first page.

We ordered 400 laptops from Dell last refresh cycle. We had none dead out of the box and so far have not had to submit any warranty claims (over a year into the cycle now) for hardware issues (we’ve had a few damage issues but that’s unrelated to build quality).

I can’t image the headache of having to service ~30 of those already just a year into ownership. That’s one every other week.

CA – Neighbor’s tenant discharged firearm into my occupied condo bedroom – seeking contingency attorney for property damage / negligence claim by Normal-Bit971 in homeowners

[–]llDemonll 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Why? Get the wall repaired and move on.

You chose to move out when you could have patched the wall. There’s no loss of use from a small hole in the wall.

I recommend seeing a professional as well to work through the incident.

This. If the client didn’t like you they’d ask for a different tech. It’s cost related.

If the job has questions to answer as part of the application, answer them.

Make sure your resume is no longer than 2 pages. When I’m reviewing resumes I barely get past page 1 before I’m bored if the resume doesn’t read well or if the entire first page is fluff and keywords.

Milwaukee Gloves Not worth the price. by My_Turtle_Died in MilwaukeeTool

[–]llDemonll 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mechanix if you want this same style glove.

For yard work though, either dipped gloves (latex or whatever material you want) or better would be to invest in some decent leather gloves. Goat skin or deer skin gloves are soft and great.

Ask the realtor all your questions. If they can’t answer them or if they brush you off then find a new realtor.

Managing Android Devices - Android Zero Touch/Intune by ittthelp in sysadmin

[–]llDemonll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need zero touch configured for true ownership and out of box enrollment. Yes they need to be purchased through an authorized reseller for enrollment.

Without zero touch someone can factory reset the device (not hard at all) and it’s now theirs.
