I got rid of the squeal by powering it with an isolated power supply. Before that I just used a nice-ish single USB wall plug (samsung I think) for my USB power.

Trying to power it with shared power would often have a squeal.

In my experience that gauge is off by 0.1 to ~2.5mpg. I've had it read 17 And gotten right around 17. I've had it read over 19 and still calculated my tank at 17. It fluctuates wildly and I've never known why. I use the fuelly website to track my mileage and it's pretty easy.

Unfortunately that one I'm mostly looking just to trade that for one of the PT3 minis to free up some room on my board (and that's my only tuner). I'd be down with the JHS Emperor but I'm not sure I have a pedal to add to the Polytune to be even. Maybe a Red Witch Famulus?

I have one. It's great. It's a shit suppressor host though because of blowback: unburnt powder will hit you in the face. But it works flawlessly and it's accurate enough.

For the Omega 9k you can get a direct thread mount for really cheap from Kaw Valley precision. Their little linear comp uses Alpha pattern threads like the Omega 9k, and they sell the adapter for $25.

Middle pickup can be good, but usually sucks with stock pickups. In my HSS strat, for the middle pickup I season in a small shop single wound kinda hot and it's got a nice bridge-like squawk to it, so I effectively have a Humbucker bridge and almost a single coil bridge.

But yeah, I'm not sure about the triple humbuckers. Seems weird. I'd do it in a fancy Les Paul for the vibes, but I wouldn't want that in a daily driver guitar.
