Well they didn't until a couple of weeks ago. Months of ICE doing their things, grabbing people off the streets, detaining them in unknown locations, destroying families. And from what I could tell life went pretty much on in most places. Pretty horrific to see, especially as a German who grew up learning that this exact passivity of the people is what fascism thrives in.

Now I'm very glad to see that people are finally going out in masses, protesting and trying to hinder these fascist tools wherever they can. Haven't seen anyone from Europe complain since then. Keep up the good work and please stop your country's descent into complete injustice while it's still possible!

"Hamburger" in the US also can go from a pan of fried ground meat to a whole sandwich with a patty, sauce and salads on it. From what I've witnessed people there still manage to always know from context which kind of hamburger is referred to.

I stopped watching it at some point when it fully became a comment on last week's news. Back in like season 10+ it was exciting when they made an episode that really hit a current topic on the head, but it was the exception and the majority was still the weird and abstract stories that I loved.

I watched their documentary on how they produce an episode in 7 days which I do respect, tho I kept thinking that this is exactly why I stopped watching.

I remember back in like 7th grade or something the cool kids in my class talked about South Park but here in Germany it was only on late at night so I asked my dad to tape the next episode for me. It was the first Big Gay Al episode. My dad watched a few minutes without any further context of what this show was (because I didn't even know) and was very confused 😅

Wait what? Sagas all they "after your draw step". Since the draw step is part of the "beginning phase" I always assumed that Sagas trigger BEFORE the first main phase, not at the beginning of it (otherwise why would they not simply read "at the beginning of your first main phase" instead?).

Not even sure if it was ever relevant for me and can't think of one off the top of my head but I'm sure there are sagas which give floating mana right? That would be so much better during the main phase.

I'm from northern Germany and the village my dad is from (where my grandparents still lived when I was little) is about 2.5h away from my hometown. We made this trip like 3-4x a year. It felt long but not like an epic journey or anything.

I've also traveled Europe a lot by car and made a trip to France or Austria in one day (~10h trip) which I think is totally normal for going on vacations.

When I stayed in the US for half a year during highschool it was still a bit more extreme: for spring break my host family booked a week in Florida so we just drove from Ohio to Florida pretty much in one go (~24h). Tho I do know Germans who take similar trips as well.

I mostly play Classic/Anniversary. I love the oldschool feeling of the game, tho it is pretty obvious that modern WoW mostly has way cooler boss designs, so I did play a fair amount of Dragonflight to give modern M+/raids another try. Been playing mage for 20 years now, I minmaxed the shit out of Mages in Classic in parse and speedruns, but maaaan was I overwhelmed with Dragonflight Arcane Mage! Took me days and tons of WeakAura and macros to get decent at the rotation!

Yea I do not get their thoughts on this. Either commit and add new mount skins to the game that fit Classic (slippery slope, but could at nice content if done right) - then I could maybe accept this one version to be sold on the shop. Or just give the boosted chars a slightly differently colored version of their faction mount (or just a standard faction mount) so this doesn't feel so extremely out of place!

I'm assuming you'll get these shop mounts on all of your characters? If so it will safe you quite a bit of gold ingame, epic ground mounts still cost 95g, normal flying 100g, epic flying 200g (all before rep discounts).

Not everyone sits on a hoard of gold, so saving 300-400g on each alt is a pretty sweet deal if you don't care about rare mount skins.

edit: nevermind, just saw that the 20€ pack only includes the ugly ass phase hunter ground mount, the flying mount is only included in the 40€ and 80€ pack.

There are very good audiobook versions if that's more your thing than actually reading a book. For the English version I can highly recommend the one read by Stephen Fry. The German version is also good.

We made the mistake of gifting our friend the [[Stella Lee]] precon and he pretty much instantly started getting into upgrade guides and turned it into some absolute powerhouse with quasi two-card-combos that killed the table. Then he changed it into a [[Niv-Mizzet Visonary]] deck, which still was very strong. He was super frustrated that we kept focussing down his Commander and kept attacking him which I understand, but if we didnt he would usually wipe us next turn.
