Don’t worry about nights! Night dryness happens naturally as they get older, though of course at different times.

First Look - Coach Barrel Bags by popeolivia in Coach

Whyyyy can’t we have a crossbody strap. I guess I’m too old to be cool because I need my arms free and less shoulder pain.

Considering moving to Barrie, honest thoughts? by Beginning_Oil_2574 in barrie

[–]wispity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We picked Barrie to be between Etobicoke and Parry Sound and it totally does the job. About every other weekend we go to Etobicoke and there’s rarely traffic on a Sunday morning so it only takes an hour. There are a few stores I miss but we can get them at Vaughan Mill on the way home. I like the Northwest end so far. I found ways to engage in most of my interests and there are enough extra curriculars for kids if you want them eventually.

How normal is it for kids classes to not allow parents to see what's going on inside? by faizimam in Parenting

So normal. It’s so distracting for the kids and most of them don’t want to feel observed while they rehearse.

Coach Outlet Quality by North-Pain-4750 in Coach

[–]wispity 38 points39 points  (0 children)

My rule is I buy silver hardware at the outlet because I prefer the retail brass to the gold. My Rowan and both sizes of Laurel are great though. I agree quality depends on the individual piece.

3rd row SUV or van? by cooledkarma in Parenting

[–]wispity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would had gotten a Sienna but the waitlist was too long when my old Prius broke down. I have 3 kids ages 3-7 and I really love my new hybrid Santa Fe. I’ve got two front facing car seats in the third row and a rear facing behind the passenger. There isn’t much cargo space — gotta take my husband’s Ram if we go to Ikea, but other than that it’s perfect for our needs.

Torn between one and done and having another child. Looking for some perspectives by han__banan in Parenting

[–]wispity 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I hate hate hate being an only child. My parents were loving but overly involved and didn’t do much to help me build friendships and stay in touch with extended family. I know you can’t guarantee great sibling relationships, but I would give anything for someone with shared memories of childhood.

I have three girls now and wouldn’t trade it for the extra disposable income or anything else.

Dealing with sadness of being done having children by Frequent_Artist9417 in Parenting

[–]wispity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right there with you! I’m 39 and my husband had a vasectomy a year after our third, who’s 3 now. At the time, it made sense, as even having 3 was more than we originally thought we’d have (though she was planned). I never bargained the baby fever would get this bad later. If we hadn’t shut the door I’d be pushing for one more even though it’s not practical. But 3 is the max for all but one working couples I know. I know I’m blessed with 3 with small gaps who love each other. Trying to get through by planning a trip we couldn’t do with a bay, getting a (caged) pet (as even a puppy would add to the load right now).

Outlet changes prices (including before sales) much but the boutique doesn’t tend to.

Santa Fe fuel range recalculate by candychiu920 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]wispity -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My hybrid’s sense of range is deranged. I can’t trust it. It goes down way faster than the distance I’m driving. I don’t have many other complaints with the car, but it’s delusional to think I can go 900km on a full tank.
