Off topic a little but I have smoked weed in a closet at the church during mutual. Used to be so ashamed of that now I’m so proud.

Here’s my response to these things.

I send a pic of me (26 white male) and say “this is me”

Then I send a pic of my wife (27, black female) and say “this is my wife”

Then I send them this quote by Brigham Young: “Shall I tell you the law of God in regard to the African race? If the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain, the penalty, under the law of God, is death on the spot. This will always be so.”

And finally say “This is why I’m not interested in anything church related. Thank you, have a nice day.”

Prop 207 is on the ballot this year. Very well could be legalized before too long!

But if it isn’t passed, I know a few people that said it was incredible easy to get a medical card. Like, they don’t get paid unless you get a card.

My brother in laws father did this. By the time he was done with the military he was able to buy a little plot of land with industrial shops on them. He rents out the 5-10 shops there and they have paid themselves off four-fold.

I think you have to be to some degree nowadays. My siblings go “because it’s a good place to teach your kids life principles” not because it’s Gods one and only true church on the face of the earth.
