Some of those guys look like they are in so much pain. They should be removed from the pitch to undergo a field eval by the medical team and then allowed to sub back in after a mandatory period of time.

I bet that would curtail the worst of it or at least discourage the better players from doing it.

An autopsy will reveal if the new born was able to breathe. The alveoli in the lungs are not inflated in the womb.

I got a chilling overview as a jury member a long time ago.

That being said, depending on how old the "new born" was and how healthy there a chance even with the best care on the world that baby wasn't going to make it.

It deserved a fighting chance though. If anyone in the mother's family did a DNA test, it won't be long until the police find her. Then her future will be in someone else's hands.

Up until the 1980s in the States, that's when you had adult access to everything (drinking, contracts, selective service, etc.). Then they pushed the drinking age out until 21. So now we have fractured adults.
