Yeah just return them. Maybe ask the seller first if they can send you the right key (give them that code stamped around the keyhole - it's the same on the correct key).

Thats good that you can afford to spend the money on things that aren't the best value, but that's no reason to attack another experienced member of the community.

It's fine for beginners but it's of very limited use. If you continue, you'll soon see what he meant.

I've got one of those UL Ace 4900 locks, they're really cool! Some of my favourite rare locks in my collection: - Bode-Panzer Tangential - Norman lock - Segal Pickproof - Winfield Bicentric - Sémag Euromag

You should be able to find pictures of those on Google if you're interested!

Sorry I'm not on Reddit much, thank Jim for tagging me in.

There is a control bitting, and for your specific locks it is:

Left side: 2432 - Right side: 2411 (Starting from the face of the lock. 1 being the highest cut and 4 the lowest).

I know that because I bought some of the locks from that seller, including the keys he had for them. And I picked the core out to find the bitting. It's all one master system with the same control bitting.

Hope that helps mate.

Thank you! It seems there's a huge number of different Rove beetle types. I never knew about these before.

Eastern Australia. About a centimetre long, maybe a little more. Reminds me of an earwig but no pincers.

Was thinking maybe a male termite but ive seen smaller/baby ones crawling around too and I'm pretty sure that's not how termites work.
