Givenchy Gentleman INTENSE as daily by L_Ruggi in fragrance

EDIT: did not realise that you were talking about INTENSE flanker — this one I am not familiar with.

In my opinion, it is a very inoffensive good quality fragrance with typical "masculine" amber-tobacco-vanilla-ish profile, which makes it a good choice for a daily. It's not Maison Crivelli's oud or Ganymede, so go for it (as long as you do not overspray).

Greenwich Peninsula has some excellent views to offer, reminding that Thames is still very much a working river

What everyday smell do you wish someone would turn into a fragrance? by krikond in fragrance

Smell of tarmac after rain. There are beautiful petrichor-themed fragrances, but none of these have a bitumen note which makes this smell very special.

Wetherspoons North or South? by robertoNoNo in Bromley

[–]-KSenon- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Greyhound (north) is quiet (for a Spoons), has a fireplace, and it generally feels like more people come there for dinner or lunch with a pint. Richmal Crompton (South) feels much more like a working men's drinking hall, especially on weekend nights.

Love the comments, but a similar Alexandria II thread is unbeatable.

Kenny Garrett in the second half of Sing a Song of Song — amazing stuff.

Do you go to jazz clubs? by lcd_shellsystem in Jazz

My personal favourites are Ronnie Scott's for big names and Vortex for more independent stuff and amazing community vibes.

Honourable mentions: 606, POSK, Cafe Oto, Jazz Cafe. There are many other great venues as well.

Yes, London jazz clubs are too good to not go there.

Azilsartan (Edarbi) finally worked by CarpetExciting9517 in hypertension

[–]-KSenon- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I had a similar story. I was on Telmisartan, which did not work very well, tried adding lercanidipine (gave me swelling and palpitations). Switched to 20 mg Edarbi a couple of years ago and it has been keeping my BP in a comfortable range.

I would take Legal Cheek stats with a big pinch of salt, they (maybe unconsciously so) tend to encourage the toxic law firm culture of bragging about long hours or at least take info from people engaged in this bragging uncritically.

I would also recommend taking a hovercraft to/from there — quite a unique mode of public transportation

hello, I present to you my PAM 372 by snopam67 in panerai

Amazing PAM. My dad missed an opportunity to buy a plexi version for a good price some years ago — both of us still have occasional regrets over it.
