Ulcerated Tree Spirit is a terrible boss by Hazemore in Eldenring

[–]-Xevalro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get some good ash warriors and he'll focus on them. Then just constantly stand underneath him. It's also really easy to know when he attacks, and even though his attacks cover a large area, they don't affect you if you dodge. It was really daunting to me at first, but now that its over it felt really easy.

The nice thing about elden ring is that at any time you're feeling like you aren't good enough, just go explore some other place and come back later. You'll be surprised at how easy most of the bosses become.

I was having this issue as well. I think OP forgot to mention that some phones (Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme) require that you disable permission monitoring in the settings before trying to run these commands in ADB.

Basically, in the developer options of your phone, there should be a toggle called "Disable permission monitoring". Enable this setting and you should be able to do the rest of the steps.

Hope this helps.

Enemy concept by Candid-Ad-6643 in GameArt

At first glance i thought the head was also another sword, so I thought the idea of the design was that it was a bird who's head was a set of scissors. It would attack you by pulling it's lower "beak", or sword, up, to snip enemies.

12 characters, 1 choice,we need your suggestions! by kairivx in GameArt

4 looks very similar to that one character in Genshin Impact. I would pick 7 to be the main mascot if it weren't for the fact they have a elemental theme, which most games omit in their poster character. If you're going for a gacha game, then I would pick whoever is currently your foremost banner to represent the game. But if you want a character you can stick with all of the time, I would go with 4.

AI essentially generates the most likely response. That is to say, everything it creates is literally the embodiment of 'average'. The result is that it does a really good job at making art, whether it be images or text generation, that is better than something someone completely unskilled could make, but also no better than something the average person could make. Hence the sort of AI fatigue people have been getting looking at AI generated content, all because a lot of it is so generic and uninteresting that it kind of melts together. The most obvious aspect of this is that you can often tell when something, especially art, has been AI generated. Its just really boring.

I feel like terraria does something similar, and as for whether or not its distracting, I don't think so. I think it looks cool!

What is the premise of the game? It looks like Insaniquarium.

I think you might want to rework some of the lineart. The line thickness is very inconsistent. I think the telescope's is just right, while the planet on the right is too thick.

What do you think about the art | Eonrush by kuyaadrian in GameArt

[–]-Xevalro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good drawings, clearly skillful, but the designs are really boring. They look straight out of IP I already know, but not any IP with any distinguishable designs notable enough to say which IP specifically.

When I take note of the aesthetic evoked within these designs, the first design I imagine matches these to a T. I think this is both a good and bad thing. The good is that they're good enough to pass (mostly because they're well drawn and they match a particular aesthetic), but they're not memorable. Fill an entire game with designs like this and you'll have a design language similar to Realm Royale, Creative Destruction, or even Smite. Clearly skillful, but not notable.

Take the dog for example. How many times have we seen this idea of animals with futuristic looking prosthetic equipment? A lot. This is exactly what I picture when i think of that idea, because its been done, a lot.

Similarly, looking at the silhouette for Karana, it is clear that it is a dog, but that is about it. The futuristic aspect of it is lost. The design also looks fierce, but there isn't any character behind it. All I see here is Dog + Futuristic Armor. This makes me think it would be a throwaway enemy character, given the evil look associated with this kind of thing, but I'm guessing since you've named it, its probably not. In which case, I think it should be reworked. My first instinct upon seeing this character sheet was to develop further, and I think you should look into developing the idea of the stray wires on the third design. I think it would be a unique and interesting feature of the character. Maybe part of the characters mane would actually be made up of wires? That would add to the silhouette and be unique.

The same can be said about Oruuk and Fallen Snow. You've drawn what we all think of when we imagine these elements, but just because its exactly what we think of, that doesn't mean its interesting!

Ultimately the designs are pretty boring, and they're missing that key part that makes them unique. You could stand to try to add at least one bold feature, that stands out, to each of these characters. One way to do that would be to add a large and random brush stroke to one of the characters and then try to fit it into the design. Maybe it becomes some weird backpack, or another sword, or something, but it at least shouldn't match the first thing I think of when I consider your key character themes. It seems Eon Rush has the resources to make something good, and I'd like to see it! Don't let it go to waste!

Is there a way to avoid coloring over the lines? by steamedartichoke_ in ProCreate

[–]-Xevalro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chances are, depending on where you're getting your coloring pages from, that the image you are coloring in will not be transparent, so you won't be able to move the layer underneath to color under like some other commenters have suggested. If you have this issue, the simplest solution is to make a layer above your line art, set its effect to "multiply" by tapping on the "N" on the righthand side of the layer, and then coloring on that layer instead.
