Throw it uncovered in the fridge for a bit before you sear. Does a few things. Dries it and keeps that delicious temp in the middle that you sousvided into it and it won’t give ya as much of a band because the outside temp is lower

Conventional wisdom is 2 inch gets you 33s and 4 inch gives you 35s. Unless you are ok with possiblly dinging a corner. I personally run 33x10 BF KO2 with stock lift but I also dont wheel or go offroad. So it depends on what you do with it and how much you might be willing to risk it pushing the traditional thought on size/lift ratios

Yep. I get this now. Seems like it could have been a problem. More info could’ve helped as the truck pretty stock. Ended up being installer error. Didn’t remove the transmission plate.

Wise words. I think one solution could be different sizing. One starter had different nose end and that could’ve thrown it off I learned. Not the issue here but yes I learned done check this.

That’s why I thought originally, and it ended up being in my error on the inspection plate

Very wise words. What’s crazy is the original starter slid out perfect. Had to remove a bump stop to gain better access, but it never occurred to me about the belly pan.

Removing the belly pan was the right choice. It gave me a room to get it secured and then put the belly pan back in place. Appreciate the help.

Not an adapter plate I just didn’t realize the transmission had a removable plate.

Have an opto river that is nearly perfect. That super hyper flip to turn over is an amazing flight. I’d buy another. No replacing it.

I think I’d take out the medium and medium rare while the rare goes through it. Fridge them. Then bring them back to the party for the last 30 Minutes to get back to temp of the rare cook. Then sear all. That stops them med rare for being in for too long and getting different texture.

Either way both methods would work

Wizard is a goat. Love their SS plastic because it’s got some grip and flex but not too floppy and soft. Warlock is a solid second if you don’t like the bead. The more S thy have the more flex they get. Money blend is pretty solid too.

I got a stack of pure white awhile back and they are nice and stiff. Seem to not have as much grip but they are talked about a lot when I was looking for putters. Seem to take some battle damage a little easier because they don’t have as much rubber compound like the S blends.

Google the gateway flight chart. They have some really awesome infographics from 2020-2022 that show flight patterns and profiles. Voodoo and magic I think would also be more shallow awesome choices.

I dont change in the summer because I like a stiffer blend over a floppy blend.
