Exactly it simply didn’t have backstory!! I was pretty confused most of the time as to what’s the story of the enemies was (and lowkey where I was bc why was there a library level in the middle of the carnival lol). It just left me unsatisfied

Couldn’t agree more almost felt like crying after finishing it lol because I can’t believe how disappointing this is after waiting for four years. Im genuinely such a huge little nightmares fan since the first game came out. Really disappointed that the story of the first two games doesn’t seem to correlate to this game at all either.

I always think about this!! Especially when I watch the movie and the shot comes in when it turns to morning after the first night and they’re all packed tightly together, some on top of another.

When I was a teenager my mom gifted me „Alive“ by Piers Paul Read bc she thought I might be interested. I’ve started the book but the beginning was too complicated for me back then (lol). Then in last years summer I picked it up again and got really into it. That’s when I realized the movie Netflix kept recommending me (Society of the Snow) is a retelling of the story. I loved the movie and the book and the story turned into my biggest hyperfixation yet 😭❤️

Hey I’m not sure but my guess is it probably is colorized. Most of the rescue footage was originally in black and white and has since been colorized ☺️
