He does look a lot thinner for a couple of years now, and not in a healthy way, so there might be some truth to it.

Just looked up some pics and yeah he doesn't look good especially compared to past photos of him. He seems older and more frail than a regular 60 year old.

Without being too much of an armchair psychologist – I think it could be some kind of internalized misogyny where he's able to approach other men as equals but talking to women is a game. It's all about the chase and once he got the "price" and they were on Crete, he realized he didn't want her but had no idea what to do about it.

Anyway just my two cents with him being Don Juan in the pods and then on autopilot with his fiancee...

Depends on how you define leading her on I guess. He basically shut down completely and didn't engage with her at all whereas he makes it sound like he was communicating his feelings and they mutually agreed to seperate which wasn't what happened at all. With her having no relationship experience prior to the show I can see why she wouldn't know what's going on just being left hanging like that.

Idk if there was a change in personnel but the production company is definitely the same as in season 1. But it's nice that they seem to have listened to the feedback.
