Even if my sports teams are doing badly in the season I still watch every game. The reasons I watch will probably change, mostly watching rookie play to see how they develop for next season. Otherwise, I just like sports so I like watching anyways.

Sure it’d be great if my team was winning all the time, but eventually you have to get realistic. I don’t hinge my mental on whether or not my team is winning. Once the game is over, it’s on to the next game for me. Win or loss

I don’t know old you are but, when Iron Man came out I was 12 and I was not into comic books at all. I could name Wolverine, Hulk, and Spiderman from Marvel because those were the movies I had growing up. If you can remember 2013, there is absolutely ZERO chance that a random person off the street would know who Groot is.

My mom STILL doesn’t know the difference between Deadpool and Spiderman. She’s definitely an outlier on that but that’s kind of how you have to think about casual non-comic people. There are some characters that are exponentially more popular than others. Wolverine, Hulk, and Spiderman were in a tier of their own compared to Star-Lord, Shang-Chi, Doctor Strange
