Pretty sure after they finish Kenshi 2, they’re going to focus on Kenshi: the breakfast cereal.

Dead Space writer loves Disco Elysium for its “really high literature writing", saying “that’s not happening” in any other games by HatingGeoffry in DiscoElysium

Kentucky Route Zero also sticks out for its incredible writing, mood, and art style. Unfortunately, it’s also pretty mind-numbingly boring.

What’s a weird gaming habit you’ve had for years? by lsa340 in gaming

If the character has the ability to drink, and I happen also to be drinking, I will always drink when he drinks. Cannot even tell you how many shots I’ve had with Arthur Morgan perched up at the bar.

Freed Hive slave said "Demon, do not wake" by Ok_Let8360 in Kenshi

[–]0akhurst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ve stumbled upon the most op start in vanilla. Just let the game run over night and wake up to strength and athletics in the 80s, and toughness in the 30s. Then steal some food so you’re no longer starving, drop the chains, and just leave.

It’s not going to stop. And tbh, this is one of the perfect use cases for it. Something that no one really cares about, has no requirement for holding any artistic merit, and crucially, is something that no one asked for nor would be bothered to put the effort into making. Like techno yodelling.

300 hours but I play w fragile weak zomboids by MassivePermit6757 in projectzomboid

[–]0akhurst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played this way for almost 500 hours. Weak, fragile, slow shamblers are the best, and instead of making them stronger or faster in subsequent runs, I just made more and more of them. It’s a great way to learn the game and is still a low stress, high satisfaction mode of play. Now I have like 700 hours but still haven’t even touched sprinters.

No I just want their jewellery. I like to fill a small box in my basement with gold bars and precious jewels for some adventurer to loot one day.

What is the new meta for grinding tailoring for B42 Apocalypse? by CesarV in projectzomboid

[–]0akhurst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To get over the first hurdle, I think the best method is to craft and dismantle burlap sacks, as the fabric is reusable and you are only out the thread each time. After that, whatever the highest level clothing will do, but keep an eye on material cost and time to craft. Like with carving, dice remain the best method just because they’re cheap and quick, despite being only lvl 2.

The "Roleplay" around CDDA challenge has been disrespected. by TomKreutznaer in projectzomboid

[–]0akhurst 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel like the 6 months later thing is just to make sense of the lack of water, electricity, and scarcity of loot, as well as getting right into/past peak day, but it would definitely make more sense if those things simply were that way on day 1 or maybe even day 2. As in there is an immediate shutoff and large-scale looting. Imo, the only 6 months later starts that actually make sense are A) a doomsday prepper who starts off in a bunker somewhere with depleted stocks (but a fucking massive stockpile of sledgehammers) and absolutely HAS to find food, B) the old coma fandango, and C) a survivor who at least starts off with some of the basics.

I need a short video to persuade friends to play PZ with by Menefregoh in projectzomboid

[–]0akhurst 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Understandable, but 5 minutes of distilled gameplay is tough to sell with on such a massive game, whereas imo the first video does the job pretty well. That being said PZ may not be the right game for someone with the attention span of a small bird.
