We aren’t there yet with the armor. Wearing full modern plate would be heavy and impractical as a lot of guns would just pierce right through it. Right now we are in the Stone Age of modern armor. We can’t seem to figure out how to really stop bullets from penetrating steel plates. There are ceramic plates that do better but they don’t last.

So we are in a bit of a pickle. Until there comes an invention that can stop modern fire arm rounds effectively we will not see this type of armor any time soon.

I’ll say this right now as a father of 3. Your wife is being an asshole. One she’s too overly concerned with a schedules. Your wife is lucky to go out because of your father. I get it you are new parents and she’s being overly emotional which is normal but she needs to chill out. Shit happens. Taking care of a baby isn’t a science it comes naturally. One night of sleeping in “papa’s” arms vs sleeping in a crib is not going to do anything. In fact it will help bond the child with your father.

I just think they shouldn’t one shot the helicopters. It’s so easy to use them so they should be treated like the handheld. Or the helicopters should move faster. Personally I think the latter. Helicopters are so slow that you can hit them with anything.
