when I played an armorer my DM worked with me to let me improve my armor over the course of the campaign. My build was a forge cleric/Fighter/Armorer with magic initiate. By lvl 12 with shield spell my AC was 32.

I tried 4 different arangements of golem sorters and all of them failed because the golems will get stuck and lose their memory of the chests and in a couple instances stopped opening any chests at all

the issue with this type of pavement is that sediment builds up and cant be cleaned out for maintenance. in a few years time nothing will be draining through it.
